If there was a competition to make customers feel unwelcome then this Tesco would win hands down. The staff are so rude and it seems clear they would rather be elsewhere than this empty barren shop. As others have mentioned it seems to be poorly stocked - who ever does stock control clearly cannot count!Avoid if you can.

Upon entering the Haggerston Tesco, you immediately recognise the faint but unmistakable smell of hope

The refrigerator that the sparkling wines are stored in doesn?t actually work; the wines are at room temperature.

Green potatoes and pappy apples. It seems Tesco cannot be relied on for consistent quality of products

I?ve never had a shopping experience quite like it, I left my body and watched the whole thing from above. It was other worldly and I believe I met God in there. All I wanted was some Rice Krispies but I left with far more than this. Will definitely shop here again.

Worst Tesco I?ve ever been. The staff are completely unfriendly, the place always stinks.. Nothing compared to Sainsburys down the road.

If we were to hold a contest to find the worst Tesco in London, the competition would be fierce. There are plenty of small, overcrowded, poorly-stocked, dirty shops to choose from. But I truly believe that this Haggerston outlet would be a strong contender.Mysteries abound. For example: its cramped aisles are often blocked by the detritus of empty restocking trollies abandoned by employees. Yet any shopper will inevitably find at least one common item (and probably several) on their list is out of stock. How does a Tesco even run out of tomato sauce? And if they weren't restocking the sauce, what was on the store trolley I tripped over while trying to reach the beans? At least canned beans don't go bad. The less said about the produce on offer the better. But what really tops it off is the blatant rudeness of the staff. Listen, if I spent eight hours a day in this tiny Hades I, too, would struggle to scrounge up a cheery customer service smile. But I've seen one too many grandmas asking for help in this store dismissed with a curt wave and a sharp word.Avoid. With several nice independent grocers on the same street, including one just across the street, it's a mystery to me that this Tesco stays busy. Just go to the store that you know will have the things you want in stock, where you'll pay a little extra but won't be insulted for daring to ask the person at the customer service desk for customer service.

The worst Tesco in town? the shelves are always empty, no cutlery available with their « meal deals », staff useless.

Security attacked a person for no reason and didn?t even find any stolen products on said person. They were mentally ill and just looked a bit shifty. Tame these security animals and stop profiling.
