You have to beg for a normal cup no matter if you are dining in or take away.. they always give you paper cup even when I ask them several times.. last time I confronted the staff and said why don?t you give me a normal cup even though I specifically asked you as I was having lunch.. the guy wanted to pour the coffee straight into a cold glass.. so just said leave it..
no idea what is going on..

Came in to today with my dog to day as I am blind and this is my aid to help me around the manager exspland to me he does not let dogs in even when I have a disability as he does not let dogs and does not like dogs this is illegal practice I brought in the police with me who told the manager this is not aloud as it is illegal he even said to me that this not to be taken lightly and should be reported as the manager thought it was funny the police where not amused I will be taking this further with the council and costa head office thank you costa dalston for your hospitality will definitely not recommend you to friends

This is not my first time at this Costa. But it might be the last: no power to charge my device and one socket even has the holes blocked.

This Dalston branch of Costa is so grimey ewww there's absolutely no hygiene standards at all. The staff are under trained and lack customer service skills. There's always homeless people sitting outside.

There was a massive fight right next to me, this woman threw a saucer at my head and it smashed, I was then not given any compensation, no free coffee nothing, no sorry that happened here?s something to make you feel better ?? Terrible service, rude staff, 1/10

These Asian people serving in this Shop in Hackney are very racist!! I honestly wish I would?ve read the reviews first. It reflects exactly what I?ve experienced, if there were a 0 rating that would be a more appropriate rating .I am a reg costumer and it?s not the first time.Black people in Hackney need to be mindful of this do not spend your money with these people. I voiced my concern and was accosted by a boy named SHAHIQ who was rude enough to give me his name and tell me he doesn?t care what I have to say., bright. No customer service skills at all. needless to say will not be going here again!!! Starbucks is a few steps away!! The service is 100 times better!!!

Most of the branch's I've visited hot drinks wise are good once I tell specifically how I prefer my hot drinks to be made!!, In my case I frequently order a oat latte and always ask for it to be prepared extra hot. the toilets there are not clean or available to use always, the seating is ok when I can get one it being a very busy one due to the location inside the dalston centre. But overall I'll would come again.

I ordered a hot chocolate and sat down, whilst i was drinking it i felt something and when I looked into the hole i saw a moth. A BUG! I Ran and threw up in the toilet with non of the people working there helping and they threw my cup out before i could say or show anything. I wanted to take a picture for the record but they got rid of it and then ASKED ME IF I WANT ANOTHER ONE? I Felt sick for the whole day and had to work. I would never ever go to costa again.

9am and it?s a Very very dirty place. Toilets disgusting and smelly. Ordered a tea in pot. The first one was completely unwashed. I asked for another and took some photos. Still dirty. The men serving were speaking to each other in Indian language and laughing in my direction. The tuna panini was hard. Change your staff please and clean the place.
