Rude staff
I?m severely disappointed in this Sainsbury?s at the moment been coming here for years no problems but recently there new hires are just appalling for example today I was at the tobacco kiosk and me and a few other people was ignored by staff having a mothers meeting with a customer in Albanian (which I speak)literally saying don?t worry about the people behind you and stared laughing then proceeded to be extremely rude to the other customers ,I?m just disappointed in the attitude of the staff and I hope it gets rectified.

They pointlessly close the escalator down to the car park an hour and a half before closing, whilst people are still shopping. They keep the lights on so no one knows it is closed until they step up to the automatic doors and nothing happens or if you?re in the shop you get told it?s closed with no instructions on how to get down (it?s a long winded ramp down designed to put you as far from where you parked as possible). It is really frustrating for customers and I?m not sure why they do this as the escalator is still running so it?s not an energy saving exercise. I?d understand if it was 15 mins before closing but an hour and a half before closing is overkill and the security staff cannot give a reason why this happens, just that the manager locks the doors. Ok but why?? Given that the top carpark is now under construction they are making it difficult and confusing for customers who drive

Good range of food. Plentiful alcohol aisles with a good non-alcoholic section selling Lucky Saint. The tiny 'American Foods' section is great for buying A&W rootbeer. And there is an Argos. Pretty good shop. The loss of a pharmacy section is a shame

Perfect for a weekly big shop or if you just need to pop in. Large fruit and vegetables section, staff are helpful. Argos inside on the right upon entry. Free parking for 2 hours with a purchase. More parking underground.
Dog, cat, hamster, bird supplies. Beauty supply in the back of the store along with essentials such as bread, eggs and sugar.
Ice cream is also all the way in the back next to the chocolate aisle. Nearby is the sanitary aisle which is where the Argos is located too.
Free ATMs are there as well as an InPost locker next to them.
Place is large and high security, one security guard on the left entrance where they sell flowers too.
You can also exchange currency here for holiday or purchase 18+ goods behind rhe counter, also can purchase HEETS at a special new stand and buy lotto tickets.
When entering turn right and walk towards the Argos to find a board of local activities, charities, jobs and events on a board. You can also donate at the Celia Hammond food box, which is next to the food bank.
If you walk further down there?s a telephone to call a minicab.
