purchased a £25 book with a 5% student discount (after getting rudely grilled but said student discount) and sat in a corner of a cafe, the rude (i can only assume) manager (the same who was really mean about the student discount and horrible to the other staff) waited for me AT THE TOILET that i have to purchase something to sit there, would have been understandable if there weren?t other people also sat in the cafe with no cafe food or book, however one would assume the purchase of a book in waterstones would allow for someone to sit inside the waterstones. would love to go back but never want to see that manager again

Large Waterstones with excellent range of books. Large children?s section, gifts and new art department on top floor. Coffee shop also has lots of space.

A nice branch of the chain bookstore to mooch around although it still doesn't beat my current favourite branch in Plymouth. Very pleasant, helpful staff in a relatively busy store

I have a question, for what is the email and the card points If the points can be saved and linked to the email, I visit often this store and the one from picadilly and this time I do remember I have enough points to buy a beautiful book but the lady said I didn't have nothing so I asked if can be possible to check with my email but she said that I have to do myself. Here's when doesn't make sense the email, or is only to receive the offers. I love the book shop but with this non sence.Thanks

Bought a chai latte. It was so good I nearly fell asleep in the morning, it was a perfect blend of spices at the perfect temperature and really frothy/milky.

Nice selection of books, great deals and the cafe on the second floor is a nice place to sit and read a book (though it is often hard to get a seat)
