I?ve stopped shopping here due to the terrible customer service. Each time I?ve visited recently, the cashiers are talking on their phones whilst serving customers. So rude and lacking in basic customer service. I go to Boots now.

Selling damaged goods, and giving the attitude like it's normal to sell it like that!!! Customer service disgusting. Not even help offered, I guess assistants did not have proper training, as how to deal with customers.Smirking faces, while I have questioned about the discount in regards to the broken package , in which the answer I was given, quote "nothing wrong with the item inside "I guess it's just a new normal to sell it in a broken package?????

Terrible dishonest service to my 87 year old mother. The young person on the till argued with my elderly mother and the cash error was only corrected when I got involved and we insisted on speaking with the manager. It was evident that my mother was correct and the assistant was not only lying but tried to nastily intimidate my mum in the hope my mother would leave with her tactics of shouting at her, refusing to open the till and saying I have a queue you have to move. I believe she thought my mum was shopping alone and did not expect her to be so alert to the note given. Awful experience which has left my mum feeling distrusting of ever shopping there again. I have strongly suggested family and friends avoid this store.To the person working on the till that day. You know exactly what you did. It become an ego situation for you that you had to win and you attempted to bully my mother into taking that note. You should have simply opened the till upon her request and rectified it when she gave you the opportunity to. Why did you feel it was okay to speak and treat her that way. Did you deem her an easy target. Shame on you. I hope you have had time to reflect and realise how your actions and lies upset my mother. She was left shaken by the pressure you put upon her to walk away. My mother entered the store you work in, in good faith to spend her money in support of Superdrug which keeps you in employment and you believe you can speak and treat her in the way you did.Shame on you, I hope you have an improved attitude today and work with honestly. If you are still working there.

Good variety, one of the biggest Superdrugs I've been to. However, generally unfriendly & rude staff.. Had several bad experiences..Store has several items at 'Membership price', but sometimes "the system is not working" and they still charge original price without any discounts/point etc. They do not even care to let customers know about the issue beforehand - just want you out of there asap.Rather recommend the nearby Boots store, where the staff is always friendly and helpful! Discounts are guaranteed.I am not even surprised that the majority of the bad review about the store is about their staff.. most Superdrugs pay attention to their employees' behaviour and their customers' overall experience..

I am Indian and everytime I go to this store, they tail me keeping an eye on me. Its so demeaning. Also once I asked for help and the lady just skipped me and went to the next white person.

Visited this store on my way home (16/08/23) it was just after 4 and was busy, just needed some nail polish remover so I planned on just buying that single item and leaving but started to look at some cosmetics, for that reason I didn?t grab a basket- then one of the sales assistants (East Asian lady, longish dark hair) proceeded to walk slowly behind me and spoke into her radio about keeping an eye on me! I was in disbelief and she kept looking me up and down so I just headed to the tills to pay because I just wanted to get out of there. Conveniently she got onto the tills as I was queuing and kept looking at me, even when I was being served and when I looked back she just gave me this fake smile. I left feeling upset and angry the store was busy and full of people with pushchairs, crowds etc but she singled me out- I?ve worked in retail and I?ve never understood why people look down on customers like they?re beneath them. She needs to stop profiling paying customers because she?s bitter- you work in Superdrug humble yourself and get some make up tips you need some powder

I never leave reviews but my experience here upset me so much. Upon entering the store a short woman wearing a hijab approached me and practically shouted in my face asking if I needed any help. I understand that this is simply the employee doing their job but it felt quite aggressive. I picked up a tube of lipgloss to look at when I noticed it had been opened, so I pulled a face. She then yelled at me telling me I couldn?t open the products, startling me and making me uncomfortable. I explained that it was already opened and she continued to harass and lecture me. I was planning on buying the lipgloss, but after this experience decided to head somewhere else instead. I was so upset by the experience I left in tears. It was incredibly rude.

I had the most appalling experience with a cashier at Superdrug Cutty Sark. I visited the store on 24/07/2023 and encountered a cashier named April whose behavior was nothing short of abysmal. From the moment I stepped up to the counter, the cashier greeted me with a cold and unwelcoming demeanour and called me rude just because I was arranging my stuff at the counter. It felt as though I was an inconvenience to them, and my presence was not appreciated.Throughout the transaction, the cashier showed absolutely no courtesy or basic politeness. She called me rude like 10 times even I tried to explain her. I felt like as if my purchase was causing them great discomfort.As if their aloof attitude wasn't enough, the cashier handed me the receipt inappropriately, which left me feeling embarrassed and humiliated. It is unprofessional and completely unacceptable for a cashier to make customers feel awful about their purchases.It's essential for employees in customer-facing roles to understand that their behavior has a direct impact on the overall shopping experience. In this case, the cashier's conduct was a significant deterrent for me to return to this store in the future. As a customer, I deserve to be treated with respect and courtesy, regardless of the circumstances.I hope that Superdrug Cutty Sark takes this feedback seriously and addresses the issue of their cashier's behavior. No one should be made to feel awful while trying to complete a simple transaction. I sincerely hope that steps are taken to retrain or address the cashier's behavior to ensure that no other customer has to endure such a terrible experience.In conclusion, there are plenty of other places where customers are treated with the respect they deserve, and I will be taking my business elsewhere in the future.

This is quite possibly the worst superdrug I have ever been to. The music is so loud you have to shout conversations. There is a very small core of excellent 4 female assistants who work there regularly, know the shop and what it sells. Unfortunately the rest of the transient staff either don't have a clue, or don't give a stuff. As it is a student and tourist destination it appears superdrug are only interested in the profits from it's quick turnover, and not the concerns of the local yokels who would like to use this branch regularly. I will continue to use boots over this particular branch, or travel out to Lewisham or Woolwich to receive a better service.June 2023:-Just popped in during my lunch break for 1 item. The queue was 12 people long, there were at least 5 staff members on the floor. I asked one young woman if she would open another till. She rudely said, "when I'm ready" then proceed to do nothing whilst watching the irritated people in the queue. This shop is rubbish during weekends and holidays. Except for the afore mentioned regular staff. I shall continue to use another branch, and will recommend others do the same.

Saw some issue with what I believed to be a previous member of staff who had worked at the store go in for shopping. There was an issue with the card but the staff behind the till were rude and most unwelcoming presuming they new this girl as well it was awful to see. The poor girl had far more manners and was more polite than the workers. A very unwelcoming shop I must say, if that?s how they treat ex staff I dread to think how they treat each other.

Staff are useless, ditzy children with Essex accents. No clue what customer service is. I was applying my own lipstick briefly when I was asked not to apply the sample to my lips by this short, overweight brunette assistant. I told her it was my lipstick I was applying. She proceeded to follow me around the store afterwards whilst I was looking for the perfume aisle. I looked at her directly twice irritated she was following me but acting like I couldn't see her. I found the perfume aisle when she appeared at the end of the aisle staring at me. I looked at her for a few seconds, mentally daring her to confront me but she did not. She called for a colleague who approached me and asked to look at my lipstick stating they were missing one. I said I told her colleague already that it was mine. She said she needed to check. I gave her the lipstick and she saw after checking that it was mine. Sadly, she did not apologise but tried to make me sympathize with her... "but you can see it from our perspective... but I'm sure you can understand how we would have thought..." I curtly said no. I don't understand and I want to make a complaint. She said..."you can make a complaint, my name is Abby." I wanted her colleague's name but she said she wouldn't give it. She shouted at me to leave the store after I expressed my anger at their accusations publicly. I will pursue this complaint to the ends of the Earth.
