I have been a regular customer at the greenwich Greggs for years as I work in the Greenwich Market.
I had a deeply disturbing experience visiting the shop on July 10 between 6.50 pm to 7.10 pm. I had placed an order for a vegetable bake. But was given a chicken item. I am a vegetarian and absolutely do not consume meat. I only got to know it had meat inside on the second bite. I was so disgusted that I puked.
On asking the server of what did he give me he confirmed it was chicken.
Now, firstly he started saying I've ordered chicken which isn't true (myself being a vegetarian I would never order that) and I know I ordered vegetable bake.
After that he started saying vegetable bakes were all sold out and those are the chicken bakes kept behind the vegetable bake label.
When I asked for a receipt, I was told as it's been a couple of minutes, he can't generate a receipt.
I have visited this outlet numerous times and it's always been my goto takeaway spot. But this was a very bad experience in terms of heath and safety regulations.

Sandwiches are subpar, with barely any cheese. The hot chocolate doesn't taste like it used to.

Small and always a queue.
No seating unfortunately but if it's a nice say it's just a 5 min walk to the Thames.
Super friendly service and a good selection of goods.
Like all Greggs' - very good value for money, even more so in London.

The probability of getting bacon at this branch is less than 50%. Today was my third day in a row where I wasn't able to get a roll.
