I came in yesterday evening (2nd Sept) right before close due to unfortunate traffic, which I know is so annoying, to get my friend 3 paints and some supplies. I want to highlight what an absolute delight the staff were that evening despite the fact that I came in 10 minutes before closure.
The young lady behind the paint mixing till was incredibly patient, helpful and so polite with me, and even helped me take my paint to the till as I was in such a rush I didn?t bring a trolley. Then a young lad helped take my paint to my car and was incredibly pleasant and helpful. Honestly, I?m not sure if I?ve ever had better customer service. Thank you b&q, what I thought may have been a wasted trip was actually a really lovely trip and it really made my day.

Went in to this store twice last week first day i lined up for 15 mins as there was only 1 counter for cash/ card and 9 for card to then find the people in front of me was paying with card ?????. Then the second day a waited again because that one and only till for cash had now been turned in to a returns counter also. Who ever is running the place needs replacing or simply just open up more cash till . No sense at all.

Old boy Kevin is very helpful. You will catch him resting his legs and directing customers at the entrance but he will make a little trip down the aisle to help you find a random item.

Generally a better branch of B&Q than others in South London, yet unfortunately staff to assist are still too few and far between on the shop floor.

I bought a wicker coffee table set in store in sale and was served by Shona. She was most helpful. I had bought it online and only half turned up and went to store and it was in the sale in shop ao we managed to squeeze in 2 cars and also got extra discount. It made a change to see happy enthusiastic staff who wanted to help and assisted in putting it on a trolley. Great work thanks.

Spacious and pretty massive. I buy my diy stuff here.

The staff are great but the experience there is horrendous. Self service tills aren?t working, poor sales assistant running back and forth on her own sorting out issues. Queues building up as every single customer needs attention. Management need to sort it out. Please don?t blame the sales assistants if you have a bad time there.

Almost what I need. A few employees care the rest is just... Whatever.

Hardly any staff available and you find someone, they ask you to ask someone else as if that someone exists or you know him/her.
Then, they do not have any product knowledge -I needed help about radiators and the few they have available are packed or no visuals. To make the matter worse, they suggest everything can be found online and I can order via a third party. Viva B&Q Greenwich!

I have to go to this B&Q a lot and I?m reallly sorry but I think the manager here needs to be replaced. All the staff here must be overworked and underpaid because that can be the only reason why they are so unhelpful and slow. Everything in this B&Q takes 3 times longer than it should. Getting paint mixed can take 40 minutes. I couldn?t even buy a battery charger that they had in stock cuz the guy helping me had no idea how to find it from the collection desk. Sometimes I ask a question and some members of staff just stare at me blankly and say ?I don?t know? as if they don?t really understand where they are. Don?t bother trying get timber cut here either because half the time the person who operates the machine isn?t there or I?ve had to wait over an hour for them to find them.
There?s absolutely never a trolley, so many times I?ve had to carry massive mdf sheets around the store on my own like an idiot. I feel bad because some staff are really nice and are obviously fighting a losing battle and have even told me that the reason it?s so terrible here is because the ?management is awful?
It?s the worse B&Q in London and it?s so frustrating to shop here. I am begging someone else takes over.

Terrible Delivery Experience ? Especially Difficult for a Woman Living Alone
This was my first time ordering from B&Q, and it has been a very frustrating experience. I ordered wood flooring and was given a delivery date ? but every time, they cancelled it without warning. I kept waiting at home for the delivery, and each time it was cancelled, wasting my time and causing me stress.
I?m a woman living alone, and I recently had a liver transplant. I cannot carry heavy items, so I arranged for someone to help me ? but they were only available on a certain day. Because of B&Q?s failed deliveries, I missed my chance for help, and now I?m stuck.
To make things worse, B&Q delivers only to the outside of the building. They do not bring the items to your door or offer any help. I had to struggle to move the wood flooring by myself, and they don?t even provide a trolley or any kind of assistance.
This company clearly doesn?t consider the needs of disabled or vulnerable customers. The whole process has been stressful, physically difficult, and very disappointing. I will not order from them again.
