Customer service doesn't answer the phone and never enough staff in store. Nothing against the staff who work here, because they are good. Tesco needs to employ more staff.

I am a regular shopper at Tesco Hoover, during the last few months the quality of their oranges are to be questioned, quick peel Jaffa, in store quick shopping you cannot check wash items, found on several occasions half of the bunch are foul. It happened three different times in a month.

The workers literally follow you around and act like you are not gonna pay for a 30p bag and so scan it for you.Especially this one south Asian lady who has a 3 letter name like uma or something.Disappointed

I didn't have a £1 coin, so had to use a basket, and couldn't get everything I needed, my clubcard app needed to be updated to access the savings, but no internet or wifi in store. Gave up and went to Morrisons

Visited on 24th May @ 14.30 Very bad service from Abdulla when asked for a product didn?t take any interest to help. Generally very poor customer service at this store.

Been coming here all my life. I?m 34 years old and grew up in the area. I shop here every week with my husband and kids and never experience any problems until today with the security guard. We all headed inside and my husband went to use the loo. When he came back to meet us we realised we had forgotten our bags so he went back to the car to get it. If you are a regular here you know they know longer have a barrier that allows you to exit at the entrance unless you go through the check out till way, so my husband asked the tall man at security if he could please open the gate. We have never had a problem the 15 years my husband has been shopping here and the other security guard usually lets him out, as well as other customers. But this one security guard completely ignored him so my husband tried to set off the motion sensor so it would open and he managed to leave to get the bags from our car. On his way back in the same security guard who had ignored him approached my husband and started to have a go at him. My husband is very calm in nature and isn?t confrontational at all, so in response to this rude security guard he kept his calm and explained that he was ignored when asked if he could go through. At this point the security had raised his voice and started practically shouting at him and being extremely rude and condescending. To which my husband replied in a very calm manner, but what did i do wrong? The guard then said he broke it the barrier which is a blatant lie because customers are still walking through and it was still closing again. Whilst this was all going on i see a woman doing the exact same thing my husband did, exiting the barriers, and i asked the guard if he was going to say anything to her because she is doing the exact same thing. He said nothing to her and let her walk through.
It was at this point we realised the guard had a personal problem with my husband alone based on his looks which is when we started getting defensive and standing our ground. The guard was shouting to my husband in front of my two kids, one of which is autistic and clearly distressed so we walked away from the situation. We found the manager and explained what had just happened and the way my husband was singled out and treated and we got an apology. But this is no way to speak to loyal customers who are just minding their own business and doing nothing wrong. I will be writing a formal complain to the escalation team because this kind of treatment is unacceptable. 15 years my husband has been coming here on a weekly basis, the staff even know us, and this is the first time we have ever been verbally attacked by any member of staff. He should not be working there as other members of the public were even coming up to me as he shouted at my husband and said how rude that particular security guard is. Don?t come here if your asian or wear black. Because thats all it took for this security guard to pick a fight with my husband.
