I visited the store to buy trainers as a gift, and even though there were only a few other customers, it took ages to get any help. Staff were just standing around chatting and completely ignored me. When I finally did get someone?s attention, I felt like a burden rather than a valued customer. A really disappointing experience I won?t be going back.

I recently visited this shop, and I was really disappointed with my experience. While there are fitting rooms in the store, they were completely closed, which made it impossible to try on any clothes. It's incredibly frustrating to shop without being able to try things on first, especially when you're unsure about sizing.I could simply order online. I ended up leaving without purchasing anything because I couldn?t even check if the items would fit. It?s a huge inconvenience, and I really hope they address this issue soon so customers can shop more comfortably.

Horrible experience. My sister came from abroad and we went for shopping. Spent almost £500 and wanted to use jd cashback app which the stuff told us we can use today. I went to try on few things which btw was a problem as they said fitting rooms are closed. Why would they be closed?? Especially that my brother in law just been trying on things 15 mins earlier in them same fitting rooms. Anyway! Finally i came back and tried things on to go to the till to only hear that we need to wait up to 5 days to use this !!!! Absolutely ridiculous, staff standing around doing nothing and treating customers like idiots. They should let ppl know the info we need to know. Spent a lot of money to come out pissed off on a sunday! Defo not going back to shop there

Avoid!
I visited this shop today, trying to buy a few things at my size. After a very helpful assistant supporting me with my purchase I asked if I could try the clothes on to see if they fit. To my surprise the manager said I was not allowed to try the clothes!!! What is the point of visiting a shop if I cannot try the clothes on?? Very disappointed.
I left and I went next door to sports direct. I found clothes, I was allowed to try them on and I paid £100. Very pleased with sports direct.
Thank you JD, I can spend my money elsewhere. Take note JD manager! You just lost a customer and £100.

This is a good store, selling all the latest brands of designer sports wear and trainers. Nothing is very cheap, but hey... that's designer brands for you.

Terrible experience at this store. My daughter fell in love with trainers that were labelled as sale, when we got to the till they went through at full price and I was advised they were incorrectly labelled. I queried this very strongly as there were more than one pair on display, I said I could understand that one was a mistake but not when it applied to 3pairs on display. I told them they had to honour the price they displayed and they refused, even ripping off the label and hiding it when I said I would take pictures, the consumer rights act clearly states that they had to charge what was advertised. Head office are ignoring me and the staff in the shop are rude and no help at all. Save your time and money and shop elsewhere.

They need to focus on customer service!!! Useless bunch. Approached 3 different staff members to get some advise on shoes and they don?t even listen to customers, keep chatting with colleagues!!! Useless bunch.

I wasted an hour of my time in this store. Even just waiting in the store there were 100s of assistants but they seemed to all be hiding in the back, the tills were down and at one point the tills were left unattended! I had bought a pair of adidas campus that is meant to come with 3 pairs of laces and one pair was missing. It would be pointless to go through online means as I wanted to wear the shoes and thought a jd store would be able to accommodate and provide this? NO! So I went to the store explained the situation and was told no by a store assistant a young bajan boy after about 30 mins of being there. I then requested to speak to the manager a young Asian girl and after another back and forth conversation she told me she could not give me the laces. If you want anything resolved please do not go to this store!! The tills were down as well and eventually the store manager told us we could exchange the shoes instead but to suggest this after about an hour and all for a pair of laces was a complete waste of my time!

I went there to return an airforce that I bought from jd online. The reason why I wanted to return was because it was one half a size big. The lady called the manager and accused of me wearing it when I had only put it on indoors once to try it on. I wouldn?t recommend buying from JD.

I went to buy the tracksuit but could not find my size . There was this very helpful lady her name was Alvina and she helped me order it online . She also help me find some other clothes which I wanted and I received the delivery at home . I really liked her customer service . Thank you Alvina ?

I have been to this store multiple times in the past couple weeks where I am always served by a girl with a hijab. Every time I have an issue she always helps - such as today - she is always very patient with me and has amazing service and always has a smile on her face :)
