It was actually meant to be Korean. But the Koreans closed early. And what good fortune that was. Eat Tokyo was a great find. Not typically a fan of Japanese food, but this was convincing. Eat Tokyo is a tiny little hovel, but it's big on taste. And Asahi beer is a wonderful late life discovery. The literal foam on the head for a middle aged guy. 2 thumbs up for sure.

Excellent value. Very very wide range of authentic Japanese food. Large portions and very tasty. Atmosphere is very basic. Friendly service.

The taste was above my expectations. Service was very good. There may be a queue in the evenings, especially the weekends. However, it is one of the very eateries available open till 930/10pm
We are here twice. Pricing was reasonable.

It?s a real shame, both eat tokyo restaurants in Golders Green used to be fantastic. Don?t get me wrong, the food is still great, however, they have completely screwed the pooch in their hiring practices. Unhelpful floor management, left waiting for a table with not a single person giving any indication as to whether it will be 15 minutes or 50, you ask, and they can?t give you a straight answer. It?s literally their job to manage the tables and they have no clue what?s going on. Sadly I don?t think they know how great their service used to be, and how bad it is has now become after certain, amazing staff were treated poorly and eventually left.

Food: We had the all you can eat shabu shabu and sushi set for £29 and it is one of the best deals that you can have in London related to sushi and shabu shabu. The cuts of beef are a little inconsistent but a good broth, good sushi and a variety of food make up for it.
Service: The service was really helpful throughout and were able to ensure that we got our food decently quickly most of the time.
Atmosphere: we were sat in the back of the restaurant but from what I can tell from the front and people around us, that they were having a good time.

Great food, worth heading out of central London for great japanese food. Service a little slow but food compensates. Nice clean restaurant
