I have not been in that pizza express in probably 20 years? i used to live it. I?m a big fan of PE. The restaurant was pitch black. Please replace the light bulbs.

This evening, my mum and I had dinner at Pizza Express, and we really enjoyed it. Both members of staff ? the waiter and the waitress ? were incredibly kind and welcoming. The service was warm and attentive, and the food was delicious as always. A lovely experience overall!

The pizza I ordered was very good. The service was even better. All the staff I got in contact with were so kind. Kevin went out of his way to make me feel comfortable an evening when I didn?t feel so well. Next time I?m in Fulham I?ll definitely come back to Pizza Express at Fulham Road.

Fantastic. The chef made my pizza exactly the way I wanted - it was heavenly! The waiter and staff are very friendly and professional.

We waited over 40 minutes for our food to arrive, which was ludicrous. And the starters and pizzas were brought at the same time.
Ensuring starters are served in advance of main courses is a basic skill. When the poor service was flagged with the manager he blamed the earlier busy period, yet the place was half full.
The bill had an extra serving of dough balls listed that had to be removed.
Not surprisingly the most efficient thing about the visit was the ease by which you can pay the bill, being able to split it and pay separately via the app.
Having completed the email survey with a detailed report of the visit, I wasn?t even contacted by Pizza Express, which was a surprise as you?d think they would take an interest in situations where service falls far short of what you?d expect.
EDIT: In response to the reply by the manager - This review relates to a visit on 27/03, not today (23/04), and it is the correct branch, as I have the email receipt!
