I went to Visioncare with 6 years old son for 2 years now and the staff there are amazing. They are all friendly, supportive and reassuring. They are very professional and always there for you to help. I can't praise this place enough! My son always went there with pleasure! Thank you all!

I was having problems with my new glasses . I went back and had an eye test with Sheetal, who was fantastic. Explained everything about my eyes and the reason I needed certain lenses.Mili took my measurements efficiently. The whole staff at Visioncare Barnet are lovely, friendly and efficient and have great customer care.

I've been going to Visioncare for eye tests and new glasses for about 15 years now, after previously using a High St chain. What I like about this local, family run business is that they treat you as an individual and I really do feel like I'm in safe hands. They are always friendly, courteous and professional. I recently had an eye test and Sheetal, the optician was very thorough, reassuring, knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. Mili helped me with choosing a new pair of glasses. I was not at all rushed and nothing was too much trouble. I felt that I'd made the right choice! I collected my new glasses 10 days later and as usual Zoe was there to greet me, a welcoming face which is just what you want. Thank you ladies for all of your help and see you next time!

I have just had my check up at Vision Care in New Barnet and wanted to say immediately what a delightful experience it was! I have an unusual prescription and a family history of eye disease so I am often a bit anxious when I arrive. However, as always, when I arrived today the team were impeccable in their welcome, care and professionalism. It is such a calm and ordered atmosphere, if only every experience I in life was like this! Thanks to you all and I look forward to seeing you in 2024.

I have been a patient at Visioncare for over 30 years now and even though I don?t live so local anymore, it really is worth me driving the 30 mins or so to see Prakash and his team. From the moment you walk through the door you receive a lovely welcome from Zoe or Deepti and feel like you are the only person that matters. I?ve had a couple of emergency issues with my eyes over the years and they have always accommodated me quickly to ensure that i get the medical attention that i need. Through my employer we were sent to another optician (chain) on the work scheme and they were nowhere near as professional or knowledgeable and it cemented in my mind that you really do need the best possible care when it?s something so important as your sight. You cannot beat a family run business and it?s worth every penny. You can keep your 2 for 1s - there?s no point when the product, in my opinion, is so inferior. Thank you!

Absolutely amazing service. Zoe on the front desk is so helpful and kind. My two year old had an emergency appointment and Prakesh was brilliant with her. We received excellent service and can highly recommend.

I started going to Visioncare Barnet a few years ago due to an eye worry and later as part of regular check-ups for eye health. The team has always been very welcoming. Sheetal attended to me and I really appreciate how thorough and attentive she is - she took the time to explain results, offer advice and answer my questions. When I had to get new glasses, Mili very patiently talked me through the lens options and carefully did all necessary measurements. When it came to picking frames, she asked me about my preferences then showed me a range that really helped to address issues I had with my previous pair. With this being such a big decision, I was very comforted by the fact that both Mili and Zoe were so helpful, giving me honest feedback, and letting me have the time to try on different frames until I was genuinely happy with my selection. I very much enjoyed the experience and was also delighted with the quality of my new glasses! Thank you, Visioncare team!

So they helped me with the eye test. I have aphasia - very hard to speak. I couldn't speak the letters - they understand my problem, they trying the 'E' test - fabulous !!! Thank you Visioncare.

We have been using Vision care now for almost 9 years. We go there as a whole family and are known by first names now. My twins are also known and it's lovely that it is a small family owned practice.All the staff are very friendly and the opticians are great at their jobs as well.Highly recommend them.

I was prescribed ortho-k lenses about 6 months ago by Prakash, who is very knowledgeable and transparent. I am at the top end of the range for suitability for the lenses (-6+) and Prakash was open with me that the lenses may take some time to correct my vision and I may not ultimately get 20:20 vision. I tried them out and have been absolutely wowed by my experience. My vision is pretty much entirely corrected and it has changed my life! I have gone from being someone entirely dependent on glasses to now forgetting that I ever wore any! It?s been a Godsend for being able to keep an eye on my young daughter in all scenarios and I feel so much less vulnerable now I can see properly. It?s such a natural 360 degree form of vision, without the framing of glasses and without the discomfort of contact lenses during the day. The hard lenses at night take a while to settle and become comfortable but I didn?t mind that as I am sleeping most of the time I am wearing them. The cleaning is pretty quick - only taking a couple of minutes each day. I thoroughly recommend ortho-k, and the Visioncare opticians for their top quality care. I only wish I had discovered this option years ago!

I've been attending Visioncare for at least 30+ years and now my children attend.The service is exemplary, with genuine care and attention.I recently asked for a referral to fix a squint that was causing me to lack self confidence. From the moment of request to the operation (on NHS) was less than 11 months.Highly recommend!
