Le Querce is THE foodies' destination in SE London. Tonight the bottarga spaghettone was superb, as was the monkfish. And the service by Don Roberto and Benjy was exemplary. Antonello rules!

Went to see if they had a menu and was insulted and shouted for walking in. Inhospitable, do not recommend.

The tagliatelle and pizza were fine, but the steaks were terribly overcooked for 'medium'. The service was also very slow.

First time diners (2). My starter of pappardelle and prawns was very tasty so a good start. The white house wine (Trebbiano D'Abruzzo) was very acceptable. We ordered the Monkfish and Sea bass for our main courses There was about 3 forkfuls of actual monkfish on the plate and the remainder was bone and cartilage so a total rip off for the price. My partners sea bass fillet was nicely cooked but overpriced at around £25.50 (£32.50 for 2 courses which included pear frangipane at £6.80). The pear frangipane was dry because it wasn't accompanied by any ice cream or cream - there was an additional charge of £3 for 1 scoop of ice cream. A few slices of bread and olive oil was also overpriced at £4.50.
All things considered, the restaurant was poor value and we would not return.

Always love going for food and wine at Le Querce. The kids do too. Incredible ice cream selection!

Love this place, family run, innovative, delicious and always excellent. Everything is home made, including the perfectly al dente pasta, and the incredible ice creams. The chilli and aubergine flavours are particularly intriguing and moreish, and the pizza bases are crispy, light perfection.Kid-friendliness: They're Italian so of course they welcome families

One of the absolute gems of SE London. Don't miss the Parmigiana or the gelati

Been going here for over ten years and just love it. Family run, best host, food served with passion and finesse. Last night we had delicious starters, perfectly cooked pasta, steak and the most delicate pizza. Chilled vibe- feel like I?m going home but with gourmet food. Thank you.Vegetarian options: I?m veggie- been going here over ten years. Small menu generally with beautiful but select number of veg options. Service superImaginative and accommodating if you want an adaptation.

Best Italian restaurant in South London! The vibe is a small family style restaurant, with a modern inside. Staff are all really friendly.Wine is great and the all of the food tastes really fresh! They have an array of different specials on the board and a good amount of classics on the menu.TheyThey run a deli during the day so it?s mainly all their own produce.Cannot recommend this place enough. You must visit!

Lovely meal! Great service and lovely chilled atmosphere. Highly reccomend this lovely restaurant! We had the cream cheese Sardinia bread (carasau bread), the burrata, ravioli, steak, and Samphire prawn and nduja pappardelle. And for desert we had the chocolate cake, lemon sorbet, berry , pumpkin and amaretto, and rhubarb ice cream. All Devine!!!Thank you for a lovely meal!

As an italian I highly recommend it. In the midst of all the fake italian restaurants out there here you'll get the real deal. A family run restaurant with an excellent variety of dishes, beautifully cooked and always served with a smile.

Ordered some Pasta take away and I guess I should have specified I wanted tomato sauce. Basically was just plain gnocchi with a few bits of crushed tomato. Will be more specific if I try again. Esp as it?s a bit pricey at £14 and the portion was small. Staff were lovely and atmosphere was nice though.
