Nice pub with decent music on the night I visited. A decent range of ales. Friendly service and a good crowd. Good to see this pub doing well.

Asking for wine seemed to perplex the barstaff completely. First glasses were undrinkable. Pub very grubby, with toulet doors sticky and not appealing.

Roast made by Matthew is incredible, service and personality from Jane is absolutely amazing and the atmosphere and music tops it all off. Best pub I've been to in London! Great stuff lads.

This could be a great boozer. Previously the food and atmosphere has been good and we've had some great afternoons in there watching the Six Nations. However, it's gone off a bit in recent months and we've given up on the place. It's not now a particularly welcoming pub. The staff often look thoroughly fed up and it's clearly too much for them to respond to a friendly hello from customers.
The other reason it that you don't really know when last orders is going to be. The staff don't know either. Then all of a sudden the last bell will ring and they can't wait to get you out. I'm not sure if this is because there is an issue with their neighbours but it's mighty odd to call last orders at 10pm when you still have fifty people enjoying a beer and potentially staying for a bit longer.
There are some great pubs in the Holloway and Finsbury Park area. This could be one of them.

As we arrived quite early. The bar was almost empty. We didn't order any food either. The bar offered a variety of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks for customers to purchase. Customers are allowed to bring in their own food to eat.
Wheelchair accessibility: I found accessing the establishment is limited to wheelchair users

Good place for post cricket pints. Not ideal when you go there on quiz nights as it?s taken quite seriously!

A large selection of beers, very nice and open bartenders, a perfect place to spend free time - I'm solo, with a book ? it's exactly how I imagined a London pub, I'll definitely come back if I have the opportunity ??

Such a delicious scrumptious Sunday roast!! I?ve walked by this place so many times and finally got to try their roasts after hearing a lot about it!
Really appreciate the ample gravy that comes on the side. Those thousand layer potatoes were absolute perfection!! ???
Reservation policy is definitely on the stricter side but honestly I understand why. We only booked when we were absolutely sure we could make it to avoid the £15pp cancellation fee.
Bonus points bc my favorite beer Jubel is on tap. A pity that they don?t serve Pimms during the summer though.
Overall, an excellent pub with great sports / chill vibes. Staff are friendly and attentive! Try their Sunday roasts!!
