Decided to eat here as I was in the area and recommended to try it. I?ve been here before but it was years ago and the food was good at the time.
Unfortunately, one of the worst experiences I?ve ever had in any chicken shop. All the unused tables were very dirty, with eaten chicken wastage left on the table, greasy oil, dirty issues etc.
The customer service was absolutely disgusting!! I asked one of the staff members if they could clean the table and they just gave so much attitude, like they were doing me a favour.
The ordering system is a joke. They have an electronic ordering system, which doesn?t work properly, so you have to constantly ask the staff to help. The worst part is, you have to order through the machine but have to pay at the counter, no logic whatsoever.
Waited almost 20 mins for a chicken fillet burger meal. The burger itself was piping hot but the bun construction disintegrated upon picking up due to a really hot chicken fillet burger and cold bun. The price to quality ratio was poor. They lacked any sauces, presentation of the burger wasn?t the greatest.
Also, what?s the point of being a chicken shop if you don?t even have sauces!!!
The shop had air con but it wasn?t put on. Shop was baking, seating was poor. I?d recommended staying away from this place!

????? Truly Awful ? Order Never Arrived
I had a terrible experience with Eden Cottage and will never be ordering from them again. When I placed my order, I was told it would arrive in 20?25 minutes. Instead, I spent over two hours waiting while the ETA kept changing over and over again with no clear explanation.
Even worse, I tried calling the restaurant multiple times to find out what was going on, and they never picked up the phone. No updates, no communication, nothing.
In the end, the food never arrived at all, and I had to cancel the order through a customer support rep. This was a complete waste of time and incredibly frustrating.
If you're thinking of ordering from Eden Cottage, don?t bother. Their service is unreliable, unprofessional, and completely indifferent to their customers.

Inedible food. I got a chicken wrap from this shop. As I was eating it the wrap smelt strange to where I unraveled the wrap to find stringy pieces of battered strips. I?m not sure if it was chicken or rat meat. Completely put me off after taking 3 bites and I had a bad stomach for 2 days.

Terrible. I asked for 12 wings the somalian guy charged me £6.67. Another customer came and asked for 10 wings, he was charged £2.99
When I asked for my money back he didn?t give it. Terrible customer service skills - he wasn?t even looking at me while speaking. Wings were dry and cold - I wouldn?t even give it 1 star but thats the only choice

Horrible shop, the workers dont care, careless. They take extremely long, ive been waiting currently for 30 minutes for wings and a burger.
They are careless and don?t care about their customers. Horrible place.

This is by far the worst experience i?ve ever had with ordering food, sent the wrong items and the sauce went all over the drink? on the receipt it CLEARLY says mirinda strawberry and burger sauce which you have to pay extra for but they sent me an off brand cola, ketchup and mayo?? can they not read english or are they just taking the absolute mick? also, look at how many fries they gave me! literally only 10 fries? how is this okay? fuming isn?t even the word, they have no respect for their customers and just send wrong items on purpose? never order from here if you know what?s good for you.

When I used to come to Ends Chicken and the old staff were here, everything was great ? fast, accurate, and professional. But now, with the new staff, it?s a complete mess. They keep making mistakes, and every time I ask how long it will take, they say ?5 minutes.? I ended up waiting nearly an hour while they kept repeating ?5 minutes.?
This is completely unacceptable. In the end, I just took my money back and went home.
Management seriously needs to consider bringing the old staff back ? they were efficient and respectful. The current staff are not up to standard and clearly need to be replaced.

Hospitalised me with Salmonella.
Tried to politely inform the staff when I realised my chicken burger was undercooked, as I didn't want them to make somebody sick. Their response was very dismissive. Within 12 hours, I had enormous stomach pains, threw up multiple times, didn't sleep for two days, couldn't eat for three. Wound up in the hospital. I'm back home now but still feel incredibly weak.

Decent chicken shop. Always go after football. Foods always, the only downside is they don?t really have any sauces apart from ketchup and mayo

Slowest service in the world. They have 1 person on the till during lunch rush hour, with 30 or more students. The wings have been undercooked since I discovered this place back in 2015. Chicken express is next door. Please do yourself a favour! ??

Ordered a cheap meal which was nice but I ordered the cheeseburger but given the stripburger instead. I went to the counter and the tall guy said I ordered the chicken, I said I didn't as I know what I eat, he ignored me carried on serving customers, then came back and said he wasn't going to change it, i gave him back the burger and he told me I had to wait 20 mins which I knew meant he wasn't going to change it. I am writing this review because I have a takeaway myself and would never treat customers this way. In this case the customer is always right. He was arrogant and beyond rude and I noticed he was rude to other customers. Should not be in this work if you can't comprehend customer service. It's a shame he was this way as myself my kids friends and family will no longer come hear not because of the food but because of this guys rudeness and his mistake
