Emailed to donate a brand new metal garden table ( sells for £880 online) , got a text from boxmove to say they were collecting, followed by another text cancelling the collection stating they already had too many tables ! I rang Sue Ryder who told me if they have cancelled then they don't want the table. Unbelievable, a charity turning down a brand new garden table.

I enjoy shopping at Sue Ryder at the weekend mostly Sunday's. The staff are warm, welcoming and they have amazing customer service and always spoil for choices. Mario has a good knowledge of many products and his is very polite and helpful.

Booked a furniture collection. It was booked online item by item, but they do not tell you that you must upload photos before they agree to take it. As I was making sure the furniture was brought downstairs to my hallway, it took a few days to get pictures sent. They then promptly rejected the whole collection saying they had an oversupply. I rang the shop to clarify as the pieces had been itemised at the time of booking and they knew what they were getting. It seems that only when they get pictures will they either like or dislike the items. The person on the phone was at first very vague, then was quite rude interrupting me and repeating goodbye to shut me up. I am very involved with charities as a Trustee and service commissioner and I was not in any way rude to the person on the phone, as I believe charities do a fantastic job, but I will not use Sue Ryder shops again.

Lovely store; great selection of furniture and excellent quality too. My parents moved into the area recently and found the manager to be very responsive and helpful.
