Great variety of things and very reasonably priced. The manager, Angela, is extremely nice and helpful. We bought some furniture from there the other day and, despite being rushed off her feet with how busy the shop was, she made time to deal with our many questions and queries. The rest of the staff were amazing too. Such a nice atmosphere in the shop because of them, which is what made our shopping experience there an awesome one! We'll be definitely going back for more!

Went into the store today and was very disappointed with the way a member of staff, spoke to another colleague within the store! While I was browsing today, I clearly overheard a member of staff? I can only assume part of management (tall white gentleman between the ages of 24-34) yelling to another member of staff, about the fact that he sold an item at an incorrect price. Now it?s not my place to intruded on staff competence, but I was saddened by the way at which he spoke loudly and in a rude demeanour to that member of staff (In front of MANY customers). Mentioning that, ?He was older than himself; with children and still couldn?t do his job?. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! Something needs to change! Because that wasn?t right and extremely disrespectful to that member of staff.

We arranged a furniture collection as we were moving house and had a lot of nice furniture that we didn't want to go to waste. The app said it was booked but I had no confirmation email so I rang to confirm and was reassured that it was. Then I got a text the next day saying the collection was cancelled with no explanation. I rang to find out why and the guy who cancelled went on holiday, and the poor lady still there had no idea why and no authority to do anything about it. I know they're a charity and I'm not asking for much but just don't say you can collect something if you can't, or at least give an explanation if things change.

I was in the store yesterday and although it was very busy and they were not many volunteers available I couldn't have wished for a more pleasant welcoming or experience. The Manager who I believe is named James was and is always particularly attentive, polite welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. He was making sure that every customer was seen to and acknowledged in the most accomadating way to see that everyone felt that they were valued. Both James and his team are a credit to Sue Ryder. The most unhelpful, miserable woman behind counter, ignored all customer efforts to be cheerfull and polite. Gave me the wrong change without even an apology. Usually the staff very helpful avoid on a Sunday!

Absolutely awful shop. They clearly save all the good items for online selling and then all the excess cheap tat is put on the shelves. Used primark shirts for £10? Bargain. Dodgy Chinese electronic items from an Amazon returns pallet are sold instead of actual second hand items, such a shame as it?s a huge space and could be so much better.
