DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. They need to get closed down by food alert. The food they delivered is absolutely awful. There is no way that they are serving real chicken, it was like jelly. I feel so sick after a few bites. Awful food. If I get food poisoning I will be making a claim!

Awful. Ordered takeaway on a Sunday lunch time. Worst chinese ever received. Meat is cheap and everything fried in old oil. Waste of £95 that went in to bin.

Unfortunately very disappointing, rice had to be ordered separately at £4. The pancakes were made from wantan batter, the duck from something dried and chopped, red curry far too spicy and the drinks far too expensive. Not recommended.

I have ordered takeaway from Golden Empire twice in the last month and I have really enjoyed the food. plenty of options available which is great.
What I ordered
- Singapore rice noodles (Very good)
- Salt & chili chicken wings
- Salt & Chili pork ribs
- Crispy lamb with pancakes
- Tom Yum soups (very good)
I haven't dined in, so I haven't scored atmosphere.
Please continue to make great food.

I ordered it from Ubereat. It was really scary at first just looking at Google reviews, but when I received the beef brisket, it tasted good and the portion was sufficient. The store?s own delivery person was also very kind. I placed the order and didn?t wait too long until I got it. Long. Maybe it?s just luck, because it?s really not as bad as I thought ?

The worst Chinese I?ve ever ordered. I paid a tenner for chicken balls and they gave me 5, bbq ribs had no meat on them at all, the rice was gooey and tasted horrendous. Please don?t waste your money.

Always great food, many years ago I ordered and it wasn?t so great. But then I ordered from them again, maybe a new chef not sure but the food was perfect. Now I struggle to order from anywhere else. Usually we get soup and some Dim sum but this time was in the mood to try new things and was not disappointed. I ordered the Automatics crispy duck (duck was perfect, all of it was perfect!), Sweet and sour prawn balls (usually get pork, this is a new favorite!),Twice cooked pork belly - so good!!!, stewed lamb belly - amazing! Wonton soup - beautifully subtle flavours love this soup forever! And a few other bits my hubby chose. Overall 10/10, I?m satisfied!

My young Son told me he wanted to try Miso Soup. I found it on the menu, on line. I went into the restaurant to get some and was told (by a Woman, about 45 years or so) 'This is a Chinese restaurant, not Japanese'. How do you not know what is on your own menu? (It's No.35, on the menu displayed in your own window). And why is it acceptable to speak to a potentially new (and loyal) customer in this manner? Very poor. I shall spend my money elsewhere where there is good manners.EDITED TO ADD: Oh dear. The owner has replied. Sadly they didn't read my review properly as they would have noticed that I said 'I went into the restaurant'. I didn't telephone at all, therefore there is no phone record to listen to and their comment is a complete fabrication. You're doing yourself no favours, my friend.
