Tesco Erith ? What?s going on with the staff there?!
I live right across from the Tesco store in Erith, so I shop there very often ? sometimes daily. But I?ve had enough of the attitude from some of the staff, especially the evening shift.
Every time you ask something, they look irritated or even angry, as if you?re bothering them just by needing help. And if you try to pay with cash? It?s like you?ve committed a crime.
They roll their eyes, sigh, and act like it?s a huge burden just to walk over to the till and accept your payment.
Let me be clear:
??I?ve never experienced this kind of customer-unfriendly behaviour at any other Tesco store.
The store is supposed to be open until 11pm, yet the security guy starts closing the doors at 10:45pm, and if you?re lucky, he?ll let you in as a ?favour.?
You rush in, grab what you need ? only to be told:
?Tills are closed, card only.?
Excuse me?? Why should I be forced to pay by card when the store is still officially open? I have every right to pay cash or card until closing time.
It feels like this store is being run like some private monopoly with its own rules. There are two shifts of workers ? and it?s especially the evening crew who act like they?re doing us a favour by letting us shop at all.
Tesco needs to take a serious look at what?s going on in this store.
Being a regular customer shouldn?t mean accepting rude treatment.

Full of shop lifters, staff smell so badly of BO!! And just not a nice shopping environment! Avoid at all costs. Sainsbury?s local is only around the corner and far nicer!

Whenever I tried shopping at this Tesco this month during their opening times that was on their storefront, it was just closed. Either this store opens and closes at random times or it?s closed?

Good shop....though a bit pricey than the Morrison at Erith. I find some staff members courteous and helpful.

Great local store, even more now that they can do clubcard prices.. great staff, I always find them friendly, helpful and always have a smile - Amir, Mel and Samina and all the staff. Would personally just like a few more Tesco own brands. i.e crisps, soft drinks. ?

This small shop is spreading the virus. Thay obviously dont care.. and dont realise how contagious this is.. 5 or 6 people shopping.. people brushing pass each other.. no control.. your being reported..
