Adopted a rescued cat from here and everything went really smoothly from initial contact to taking her home. Very professional in terms of cat welfare and customer service. Very friendly staff and I was made to feel really comfortable and valued as an adopter. Highly recommended.

Kitten's health went quickly downhill and while the poor thing was suffering, the RSPCA was telling us to contact other places and only use it as a last resort. Due to their absolute incompetency and wasting precious time the kitten passed away and owner is absolutely distraught. Had they acted quicker and not tried to downplay the seriousness of the situation, I believe the kitten could've survived. We contacted RSPCA because it was late in the evening and there was nothing else we could do but there they were telling us it's only for emergencies as if we didn't know that and wanted to waste THEIR time.

Really quick adoption for us with all the necessary checks completed on the same day as applying. Went to collect my cat and was pleasantly surprised at how clean it was and the fact that there was no smell whatsoever! Really happy with the overall experience and the welfare of the cats in their care, only missing the one star as we were not able to visit the cat before adoption due to covid, which I can appreciate but still a small let down for me. Other than that cannot fault them.

I had a very bad experience fostering and then trying to adopt a cat from RSPCA Central. I fostered a cat at the start of the lockdown, all I was told was he was from a cat hoarder, was a year old and was very shy. When he arrived he was not in a good state and was more like a feral cat then just shy, he was extremely scared and mostly frozen to the spot, refusing to come out of the bathroom for about 3 months as he was scared of everything. I didn't get much guidance from the centre, their main answer seemed to be they would take him to barn if he didn't get better, I kept trying to ask for more information about his past as he was so timid it was hard to tell how he would do outside and with competition from other cats for food, but still they said didn't know anything more about him. After 4 months of daily socialistion he finally started to come out of his shell and relax, sometimes allowing me to stroke him and seeking out my company. I asked if it was possible to adopt him, they told me in writing I could adopt just needed to come in for a vet check. Then they took him to the vet a month later, said he had a skin condition and without doing any tests or asking me about his behaviour they declared it must be due to stress as he couldn't go into a garden, and I should never have been told I could adopt him as I didn't have a garden. He is the least active cat I ever met, still scared of most things and I would have let him outside if he looked like he wanted to go, as my building is semi open and we have a communal roof terrace in the building. They then turned around and said he was 5 years old and used to live in a garden, totally changed their story, and baffling that in the earlier months when I was telling them I was unsure how he would do outside no one thought to tell me this! Then he was carted back to the shelter, was so heartbreaking rather than consider the cat as an individual and that he had bonded to me by then, they rather take the risk of putting him elsewhere. Spoke to the manager and she was more defensive then anything else. and gave no indication that their was any procedures in place to try and prevent this type of thing happening again. Having to complain to head office but to see what they think. Would recommend only use them as a last resort.

They have beautiful cats! But some of the advice given was incorrect and affected the mental health of our cat. But great place to get cats.

Absolutely terrible service, told them my cat was stuck in the tree. I told them I have already tried all the common sense things to try, like leaving warm food or giving it time. I even used a laser, climbed up, used treats and others with no avail. I'm telling them the cat is desperate to come down but can't find its way and it's about 10 metres high, then they respond with "we can't send someone over" to which I put the phone down and asked myself, what's the point of this service? The fire brigade do not call out for this anymore.Great help RSPCA, all about endangered animals...I climbed up the entire tree and got my cat in the end. If you want something done right, do it yourself and don't rely on people who just make false claims.I will add to this that I have previously taken many poorly animals that I have found on the road to RSPCA only for them to put them down with the excuse "there's nothing we can do".Absolutely appalling, I feel sorry for the animals in your so called care...

Welcoming, professional rescue centre who matched my family perfecting to our kitten who we have had for 10 months now. Always have time when I've needed advice. Such a friendly team.

My cat injured a garden bird which we could not find for 3 days. We found it then unable to fly and very weak. I called Enfield RSPCA who were very helpful after trying the RSPB who cannot help, local vets who do not want or are unable to help and local wildlife centres who due to Covid 19 are closed. Someone came the same day to take the injured bird and this RSPCA worker was also really nice. I am so grateful for their help as I felt responsible for the damage inflicted by my cat. The RSPCA are truly amazing especially the Enfield Branch who helped me. I intend to make a generous donation so that they can continue to help both wildlife and domestic animals. What a fantastic organisation

Have adopted from here twice now. A smaller RSPCA centre catering to cats only. Appointments preferred and recommended. Glad to have support them twice over now.

A rescue centre that doesnâ??t take in pregnant cats I find awful, I assumed an RSPCA would help any cat in need.

I volunteer here and love the way the cats are looked after so well.
