Hammond Opticians is wonderful. From the minute you enter the shop you feel special and looked after. Everyone who works there is friendly, knowledgeable and professional. The eye test is comprehensive and Deven is kind and patient, explaining all the tests carried out and giving excellent advice to best care for your eyes.Choosing frames is now a pleasure with the help of the amazing Anita and Debbie who are honest and helpful and, like Deven, very patient. Highly recommended.

Visited Hammonds recently for an open day. We were very impressed with the whole experience, staff and visiting glass frame company were very friendly and knowledgeable. They advised on correct frames and colour that suited your face. Me and my mum hav going to Hammonds for a number of years now, and we can recommend them highly enough. Staff always make your visit a pleasurable experience Thank you Hammonds .

In a World where mediocrity tends to be the order of the day, Hammond's is a real find. Not only is it equipped with some of the latest optical equipment but it is staffed by an excellent team of people, each with a clearly defined role who work closely together and all know their business. The atmosphere is relaxed but thoroughly professional, yet everybody seems to have time to explain and discuss things. There is no 'hard sell' when it comes to choosing frames but a great deal of good advice. The shop's immediate surroundings in Enfield may not be too pre-possessing but Hammonds is definitely the real thing and is several cuts above any of the High Street chains of opticians. Strongly recommended and well worth seeking out.

A friend recommended Hammond Opticians to me some years ago and I have always been extremely satisfied with the service I have received. They have been very kind and helpful if a problem arose with my sight and are also very patient, there is no "hurry up" pressure when trying to choose a new pair of specs. I would recommend them to anyone. Friendly atmosphere; careful consideration and thorough attention to detail at all stages by everyone involved. Deven and his colleagues take the trouble to know people's individual circumstances and requirements, treating them as a person and not as an item on a conveyor belt. Coffee and biscuits a bonus!

The most thorough and friendly eye test.Every part is explained clearly and in as much detail as you'd need.The staff are great and can't do enough to help customers get the best from their eyesight.The staff are so friendly, every part of eye care is expertly catered for.It's a very personal experience and not soulless like the big chains.I've opted for a monthly subscription giving free eye tests but they do much more including impromptu servicing and adjustments ..

I've tried many opticians over the years, but I am very happy to remain a customer of Hammond Opticians. The eye examination is very detailed and thorough, and you get a clear explanation of what the findings mean. You also get lots of eyecare advice. They are very professional and friendly. I highly recommend them!

I recently had a great experience with Hammond optician. The staff was knowledgeable, the service was efficient, and they had a wide selection of eyewear.
