Collected a bike from the store. Staff unhelpful. At 64 years old I had to carry it downstairs from the mezzanine. I returned it 5 days later as it was a 2019 model, not the latest version as as advertised. No apology at all, Trade Description Act, Trading Standards etc. Apparently all models in my size are old version!!

I will never use Halfords again.. after buying a part that was ordered with my registration number I got home to find the part didn't fit. The East Dereham store refused to swap the part for a correct one and gave me no help at all saying it was my fault for ordering the wrong part... thankfully a smaller independent motor factors store wilcos in watton helped and got me the item I wanted... many thanks Wilcos you will always have my custom and I will promote your store when ever I can ..

perpetual lack of goods on the shelves!!! they don't even have an adapter for a disc brake!!! this is embarrassing and sad! I do not recommend this store to anyone.

Pretty hopeless to be honest. If there were a zero star, I would have gone for that. Went to Halfords Enfield to have a brake light bulb replaced in an Audi TT. YouTube video gave perfect guidance on how to do it and suggested it was a straightforward process. Rather than mess around myself, I thought I'd get it done quickly at Halfords and not get my hands dirty. Mistake! The guy first of all told me their 'Audi specialist' would be at work in about an hour, would I like to take a seat. I declined, I'm busy and don't have the time. So the 'Audi non-specialist' appears. I start of by showing him the screw to release the lighting unit. He didn't know that. Halfords 'technicians' don't seem to have access to workshop manuals, or even YouTube. He removes the screw but can't get the unit out, neither can his mate, so they give up in less than five minutes. They do refund my money (small consolation). I still want the bulb changed so I ring Chris at the local independent garage who normally services the car, just on the off chance he's can do it right away. Chris says 'No problem, bring her over.' He does the job in 5 minutes - same time it took Halfords to give up. And he just charges me 3 quid for the bulb, no charge for fitting! This is my second failure with Halfords fitting service. I won't bother again.
