This store seems very insufficient or at least this was the case just today(hopefully).I had travelled one hour to collect 3 boards from the garden centre and when I arrived at 6pm the doors were shut.People gathered in front of the doors and waited for staff to assist, but no one showed up or even bothered to care.I found one of the staff and asked to have access to the garden centre and the person was quite shocked and had the same opinion as the rest of us - this is RIDICULOUS. It turned out the lights were not operating so they closed the doors and did not even think about leaving a note and giving a heads up to their customers.I asked to speak to a manager and a lady named Samantha/Sam showed up and was not looking to be professional - not even a hello or an apology for the discomfort that is caused to the customers of the store. Her first words were: ?what is the issue ??After I explained the situation again and was told that not even staff can go inside, I simply asked why there is not at least a note on the doors so that the customers like myself don?t stand and wait like idiots(pardon my French), not being assisted by anyone.Sam immediately said that the note is probably blown off somewhere, which was a straight up lie - I returned to check and see if I am in the wrong.My last question towards the manager of the store was when were the lights going to be fixed(which is the reason why the doors are locked), the answer: I don?t know, what do you want me to do ?I again, had to explain that I want to purchase the 3 boards I came for and since they are outside, I need to know when would the issue be resolved and I can have access, which I believe is common sense? Fortunately, this lead us to the resolution of this entire situation - Sam told me that the doors are open during the day so I can come back tomorrow. ? Bravo. You could have easily said that from the beginning and most of the customers would have understood and accepted that.Instead, people were just being sent off!I would like to emphasise that I don?t want to be rude to anyone, especially staff as I know from personal experience that their job is stressful enough, HOWEVER I expect more from B&Q and their managers.It seems that this was BADLY MANAGED and less people would have went out the store dissatisfied if even a printed or a hand written notice was stuck to the glass door apologising for the inconvenience caused and mentioning when the customers can return and have access to the garden centre out of courtesy!I would have also expected a more professional approach and not this type of behaviour - it seemed the manager did not care to assist or make the customers feel comfortable enough to return.

Don't waste your time going to this shop. They majority of staff are utterly USELESS and RUDE . I was waiting in the wood cutting service for 15 min until someone picked up the phone and tells me that they are on lunch break... At 16.00 pm. They don't even have the courtesyto leave a note at the cutting desk to inform customers. I did not even bother asking further as I have experienced in the past rude answers and even intimidating behaviours. It is like a bunch of chavs run by gangsters. Use eBay or Amazon instead if you can, at least you do not have to go through this experience

Was turned away from entering with my dog here. I've been coming to b&q for over 15 years from when it was at the other site. They used to always be dog friendly. Really disappointed to be turned away because I was with my dog. I've always knowns this place to be dog friendly hence me always coming to shop here with my 4 legged friend. I'll have to take my business to Wickes and homebase instead.

This is the first time visiting this branch of B & Q Store very neat & tidy. Got what I needed. Staff were very nice & helpful. 5***** ??

I went into the enfield b&q and was in there for literally less than 15 seconds and I had a member of staff be extremely rude to me. I went in for some garden pebbles and needed help, asked a member of staff who was at the back of the store in a high vis jacket along with another colleague with a head piece. When I asked them if they could help, the colleague in the high vis rudely replied ?what do you want?. And cut me off when I was telling him what I needed. I then proceeded to ask another member of staff where I could write a complaint and he didn?t help either. Looked at another member of staff who saw me and then ignored because he also did now want to help. Never visit this branch, rude and disgusting members of staff working there.

Compared to where they moved from, this new store is much smaller, parking availability is reduced greatly as more numerous and busier neighbouring businesses at this new site. This was the Toys R Us store. Store layout is not as organised, and it's harder to find what you need. There are fewer options of everything at this new site. I noticed a lot more staff, and it looked like they were getting trained. The Garden Centre looks beautiful.

I ordered new kitchen units here, person who design my kitchen send totally wrong side panels. When i talk with store manager she rudely didn?t accept replacement but when I sent all photos provided panels wrong she accept partly replacement. Totally unacceptable rude manager. She is name Courtney Watt.

New, smaller store. Moving to a new site has resulted in a much reduced floor space, parking and product range. It's probably a better shop with less stuff in each aisle, but it's clean, tidy and bright. Overall it probably meets the needs of the reduced numbers of in store shoppers. Still got it's Trade Counter.

Went to buy paint which I did but was quite surprised that there wasn't a wider range like they use to have. Other than that, it was fine, self service till, my elderly uncle did say he would've walked out without buying cause he find them difficult.

Virtually every visit in this store causes me stress. Most of the staff are not able to help - insufficient training? I was returning an item yesterday, the cashier gave his best to show how little he cares, at the end of the transaction he ground out "that's it". No thank you, no apologies for the faulty item, no have a good day. Blank stare and "that's it".

Not as big as previous store and parking is more challenging. I still recommend this store as there is a vast selection and high stock levels. The staff are generally helpful and knowledgeable and the pricing is reasonable

Great variety of products. Lack of staff on the shop floor and counter, so if you buy, there is a long wait to be served. Love the fact you could buy wood and have it cut while in shop. overall good experience apart from the wait

Went in for different types of screws and wall plugs and were able to find what we needed. Whilst there I also wanted to get some tension rods for my daughters wardrobe but was surprised to find out when we asked staff (after looking everywhere) that they didn?t have them but not a huge issue. We also wanted to find a multi detector and spoke with a really nice female member of staff who helped us to identify the right product which was much appreciated.

The new store is smaller but found the staff very helpful. They actually tried their best to find what I wanted. Parking is more difficult now so probably best to use the end car park rather than the main retail park as there is more space that end.
