“Full shelves and freezers, affordable food and everything you need in one place. Nice staff but they just need to keep an eye on the queues and open more tills as and when needed. They can soon shut them when queues die down. Love this store though as always get what I want and far the cheapest than other supermarkets.”

“Some full price items are a bit expensive but Coop's sales are great. They do have great deals. Their point card is also useful to purchase items when you have enough on the card. With the card, you are also able to support charities as you use the card.”

“I don't go to an M&S very often now. This gives me a more critical eye. I have been several times whilst visiting my sister and the fresh bakery section has always by empty. Some of the staff are pleasant but many are not as helpful as in other stores. The food seems interesting and there are many innovative items but you have to search for the basics.I went upstairs to buy a spare towel and while I was up there I looked at some of the other items. I don't find the goods a delight as I did in years gone by.”

“This is my local and has been for years. Stock as you might expect and does stock Co-op products too, as well as some other big brands and their own. Fruit & veg section is a bit hit and miss but their chocolate bar selection is superb which is the most important thing! The staff are fantastic and always have been. They are extremely helpful, proactive and are always busy on the shop floor. They communicate well and deal with things swiftly. I'm rarely impressed these days but I've always thought this shop was really well managed in every respect.”

“I'm a frontline key worker and offered free coffee from the shop on my way to work. It's a small thing but big enough to make my day. Thanks again the lady who offered it.”

“All the staff are super friendly and polite. The store is clean and spacious. Products are a little on the more expensive side but useful being a local store for just picking up a few things. Only issue is the amount of shopliftings, its constant every single day. I feel bad for the staff working there having to deal with being verbally abused all the time by them on top of rude, impatient customers.”

“Staff friendly and helpful, store very clean and well lit, shelves usually well stocked, but I wouldn't rely on being able to stock up on toilet rolls here ready for the next worldwide pandemic, as sometimes the shelves in that aisle aren't always as full as they could be. Would have been five stars from me if it wasn't for that.”

“Upon moving into the area I was sad to see that the big grocery stores were far enough away that I'd have to take a bus rather than walk. I was disappointed to find corner shops nearby me did not carry any fresh fruit or veg. Then I found Costcutter and I was thrilled. This shop has meat, veg, fruit, dairy, bread, wine, beer, etc. - And a good selection of products as well! I will be visiting this shop often.”

“My little sister was being followed on her way home and phoned me (I am in South East Kent, many miles away). I asked her what was nearby and told her to run to any open shop or business. She ran to this Co-Op and approached a staff member. She explained she was walking home and being followed and asked if she could wait inside while she phoned her boyfriend. She was panicked and crying. I heard the member of staff tell her that she was safe and reassuring her. She was then taken aside and kept company by 2 members of staff who looked after her till the police arrived. I will be phoning in the morning to thank them personally for keeping my sister safe and trying to make her feel comfortable.”

“I would just like to say thank you to Pritti and Security guard Johnson for being good people... I bought items for cash but dropped an item when leaving shop, Johnson noticed but i was gone before he could alert me. When I noticed I phoned customer service at head office but they were no help. Next day i visited tesco and Johnson and Pritti were so kind and helpful beyond what we have came to expect but these 2 wonderful people have restored my faith in the human race.... Thank you.”
