When I was filling up at this station, the pump was faulty and overflowed onto my trainers and trousers when it should have stopped automatically. There was no sign saying that is was faulty. I asked the staff for help, and someone came and stopped the pump, then put an "Out of Service" sign on it.At the time, I did not take any photos or video recordings as I thought I could wash the clothes and everything would be fine. However, after washing them, the diesel smell did not come off. A week later, I went to the same petrol station, as I always buy from here, and told the staff member that I had washed my trousers and trainers but they still smelled of diesel. He told me to contact Shell customer service, which I did. They said I could make a claim for the damages.However, when I applied, my claim was refused because they did not believe the pump was faulty. They also refused to check the camera recordings and claimed there were no recordings available. I also believe that the guy who told me to contact the customer service has lied to the claim handler saying that there was no problem with the pump.As a 15-year loyal Shell customer, I will not be buying from any Shell petrol stations again. All they needed to do was check the camera recordings, which would have shown what happened. Instead, they just refused.

Always quick to turn the pump on, the shop is well stocked and the forecourt is clean. Not too expensive compared to other local fuel stations.

I used fuel pump 8, my motorcycle's electronic injection light came on, which means the fuel is of poor quality. I will never fuel up at this location.

Old pump. first 5 few seconds just air. I saw myself first 5 pound no petrol came out. after few second petrol starts. normally my tank got full in 45 pounds. inhad already petrol in but paid today 55 pound.

My two Shell stations, this one and the one up the road with a Little Waitrose. I love this one because like the other Shell, the price is a good stable price (£149 for ages when BP and others are from £151 upwards). The staff are fab; when I stop off on the way home, its usually late, I've been stuck in the notorious A20 box junction traffic melee, can't wait to get home, and, the warmth and friendliness of the staff just notch up the beginning of my unwinding mood. My drive from there is always pleasant. I also buy my lottery tickets from there and I often feel like the staff mean it, when I'm wished good luck. Real nice easy drive off the forecourt onto the road. Thanks guys...I really appreciate it.
