“I like to go in there. I love the sections for children with the books & toys. Good amount of party essentials. Good amount of household stuff. Can find some snack, drinks, electronics etc. do prefer over poundland. Plus staff is okay too, feeling comfortable to shop in peace”

Big thanks to Kelly and team!Good sized store with wide range of typical lidl goods and value inc. the front bakery - which I can never get past!Recently dropped in at what was obviously a bit of a rainy day rush hour, but could see the team doing their best to move things along as quickly as possible, including the self check out area. Experiencing a problem with my contactless payment, the team assisted me in trying again with another terminal with no result. Amazingly they then offered to place the items on 'lay away' and take care of them for me, after asking if I lived locally and could collect a physical card to make payment.It seems a small thing, but consideration and adaptability like this shown by the Kelly and the team go a long way to helping a day run smoother.”

“My local. Convenient, open 08.00-23.00, Mon-Sat/08.00-22.00 Sun. Typical Tesco Express experience, designed to ensure one makes maximum purchases even when intending to buy one item. Stock a bit random - it seems if popular item, no longer stocked after 4 - 6 wks? Friendly, helpful staff, even under pressure from regular drunks and shoplifters. Mainly used by influx of young professionals so can be busy between 17.00 - 19.00.”
