They have stocked expired tea cakes. I bought tea cakes today and it's the 2nd of July.The tea cakes were expired on the 07th of june 2025.It literally smelt like smoke coming from a cigarette and it tasted absolutley disgusting!!! Make sure to check the best before date!! They shouldn't even be Stocking expired products!?!?!?! Disappointed and annoyed!!!

Incredibly RUDE! The staff in this branch does not have manners at all! In particular I am referring to Gita, the woman who is often at the self service machines. She hit me with a basket while she was removing it from a self service machine and she did not apologise. Learn some respect and some good manners Gita!

Always saying no poundland bags and trying to get £1 bag behind checkout.3 for £1 each in petstore is a lie ..its in the small print somewhere they say ..£1.25 each lol..Always trying to get your cash?Burnt Oak poundland is much better no funny stuff

Incredibly rude self-service checkout assistant. She tried to gaslight me, but I was not going to fall for that, so she repeatedly implied I was stupid. She called the manager over so that "he might be able to explain in a way that I can understand". The manager just carried on serving people at the cash register and it was only on the third time the assistant called him over that he bothered to respond. He confirmed that the assistant was giving me incorrect information, but not before he corrected shelf edge price tickets and tried to dupe me into believing it was my error. Eventually, he conceded that he had corrected the price tickets, but I received no apology from in-store staff for the ticketing error (I paid the higher price), the treatment from staff, not the attempts to manipulate me.
I get that this is a discount store, but staff treating customers in such a way is simply not justifiable.

My son lost his phone today in Poundland a lovely lady handed it into the staff who put it in the back of the shop , my son asked the security guard who said no phone had been handed in to find out he had taken the phone from the back and put it in his pocket when mum came up on the phone he answered it and laughed and hung up he didn?t think about live pings
The security guard stole my sons phone then tried to say it wasn?t my sons phone where staff witnessed him type his code in and it opened
Security guard that steals your belongings a £1000 brand new iPhone
And nothing gets done he?s still in there working absolutely disgusting that Poundland are allowing him to carry on working there when he was caught red handed
Never shopping there again and I will tell every one I know to boycott there

This shop is always full of surprises and bargain prices, got what I wanted but looked like the staff need to know where things are had to look around for what I wanted.

Very messy place but most annoying is that there is no correct prices always different at the tile and when you try to argue that customer rights is to buy for price shown on shelves they fight you that is not true. No price tags on more than 50% of items.
