A young lady served me. I made a cash deposit in my account which I believe would be straight forward enough. However, they were surprised when I asked for a receipt. I have had past run ins at this bank when they did not deposit the correct amount of cash into my bank account and I needed the receipts as proof of the transaction. They insisted on me going to the ATM to print off a mini statement. This was beyond a joke.They printed off a full statement for me at the end of it and the money was correctly deposited.Please try not to make customers feel uncomfortable and awkward like this.

I was asked to go into the branch by the helpline to register my phone number. The young counter staff member asked me why I could not do it over the phone. I had written all details and she asked me she I gave her my account numbers and had my passport ready for ID but she insisted I read them aloud for all customers to hear. She then told me my accounts had become dormant and I was told to ring the helpline. In order to close the accounts, I have to go in to a branch. It will not be Edgware if I can help it. The building society investigated this when I complained and the teller lied and told the exact opposite of what happened. You can't win as I did not record the conversation - anyway why would you in normal circumstances? So if you get bad service, the management will not take account of it unless it is recorded.

Very poor service. Staff members talking between themselves but not willing to help. When I asked to put money into my account I was told to go to the machine and do it which I?m not familiar with. Staff was rude. Nationwide should train staff better to deal with customer care

Visiting this branch is traumatic. For such a big branch why do they only have 2 counters? Especially when they have closed so many branches recently. I have visited branch five times, there has always been a queue 10 deep.

Long queues, only 2 open windows,lots of other staff appearing from the back but no attempt to shorten the queue. Also only one chair for elderly or disabled

Staff friendly except for the dark short haired white female behind the counter who's being there for years. She's rude and has a attitude, also seems to assume she's in a senior position.
