I went there and for three times they tested a device and said it haven't passed in their test, I went to another CEX and everything was normal. To test Phones they use an app to make call. In this case I believe they use WiFi connection to call and test. If the Internet isn't working properly, it can have some failures during the call. They must keep it in consideration before tell the costumer that their gadgets has some problem.

The staff in Edgware are very unprofessional and they young and they have no customer service in skills I went there today and I bought playstation control for my son. My son didn't use the controller at all coz we couldn't turn it on at all. After I tried to return it or exchange to another controller. The staff told me I can't return it or exchanged the controller and I will have to contact the head office to email and explain to them what happened me doing that will take good couple of days now why would I do that when I bough the controller this shop and I have my receipt which is says I can return the item or exchange in 28 days and it was the second day that I went there. So now after good 2 hours of argument. I had to leave and do Notting just saying if you guys buying staff from cex in Edgware becareful. Because think they scams and let people believe their staff works. And it wasn't only me was there. There was another person who had the same issue and they said the same thing. THATS SCAM.

Brought a top of the range laptop however when i got home it had a password on so ob they never checked it over, not good guys i had to pay someone to reinstall windows as i lived too far to bring it back. CeX sort your staff out. 2 stars only.

I cannot thank the staff of the Edgware branch enough! Having been on a wild goose chase all day with issues with my niece's phone, we rocked up in a fluster late on Monday and found 3 of the loveliest, helpful, reassuring and funny members of staff you could ask to meet. Wonderful service! The phone issue was sorted and a new one exchanged and assistance given to set up the icloud account. My niece made it home to Plymouth on Wednesday without issues with a working phone.Thank you, thank you, thank you! Great personal music choices too! Just thank you!!

This place has become a scam .. they offered me 5£ for a good working Huawei P20.. I can't believe it. And they probably sell it for like 180£ . I wouldn't recommend you selling your stuff here

Very bad customer service which I have just experienced 10 minute ago so i had to come here to put an review so others avoid using this branch.I have waited for 10 minute to be serviced while the 3 members of staff were chating with each other(2 guys and one girl)when I asked if they are open for serving customers as I had been waiting for 10 minute.one of the guy which is over-weight, started shouting at me telling if I am waiting to be serve then I should have come forward right by the counter.I told him I didnt come to counter because I thought I will be called when you guys ready to serve me as I was waitng right at the waiting point.so I had to leave the place.there is no sorry or anything.rude rude rude

This particular shop no issues but CEX as a brand AVOID. Ordered an item online wrong item was delivered. Customer service made out like it was my fault and that I was causing an inconvenience to them for wanting the product I actually ordered. I was sent a much cheaper version of what I actually ordered. No compensation for their error I just got explained that is why they have a returns policy and i need to go to a store to return the item for a refund. Poor customer experience all round!!!
