Exchanged some camera bits in this Edgware branch and managed to get enough vouchers to buy a canon 550d from the Camden store. The service in the Edgware store was great, the team were able to split my items in a way that got me a little more voucher credit. Much appreciated and happy with my new camera

Came here to sell a few products today and after the failed product testing I did not get back the box to my headphones so I went back. Later on I also realised the woman did not give me back my cable either. Do not come here if you want to be scammed out of your things!

Was trying to sell my camera with a very helpful man but when my camera got tested by someone else who worked there said my battery charger light does not work and when I come home and tried it , it works perfectly fine had to wait a hour and half for him to tell me it is not working when I knew it was as I checked and charged it 2 days ago

IN STORE. Edgware: Cody, manager Hannah and miles, ash. Are really great helpful and always fun, informative to chat to; I?m always in a rush but frequently in the store. Found some good well priced games there. ONLINE there is room for Improvement dkoldies in america make claim they test, repair and clean - cex should do the same - I?ve had consoles filthy and also not working ; with missing key items and its a pain as you need to package up and return and also spend time arranging missing items delivered. On the flip side I?ve had really clean consoles like new even though retro and fully working. So it?s hit and miss. But I will say cex prices are really excellent. And lower than the market. So will continue to use them. And there is no other company that has such a wide range of retro consoles. The 5 year warranty included seems in theory helpful to have. The instore two days should be extended and online if delivered together we shouldn?t have to pay the £2.95 online.

Went into Cex today for advice for a voice changer for my mobile . Spoke to a guy called Ash. Even though Cex isn?t a specialist on this subject, Ash went to lengths to help me and spent considerable time checking out online so he could aid me with more thorough advice . He printed off a sheet with some details on there. A lot of places might have said ?just look on Google we can?t help ?,but he really went to lengths . When I told him thank you so much for your time , he was only too glad to help. As far as I can recall he said I like to treat customers the way I would want to be treated. He seems a real people person. I had a Great customer experience. Ask for Ash if you go into the Edgeware branch. He?s very good, friendly and helpful. Even with good sense of humour.

I bought a boxed nintendo wii here for nostalgia when I came home to try and power it it didn't work but after trying for a bit it worked especially since this was the 3rd cex i been to I hope next time I come in here it's the same if not better

I am mortified at the treatment i have faced at this store. They sold me a dodgy tv for £170. I ordered online as a click and collect. I went to pick it up (very far from my home address i must add as this was the only store it was available at). I was very worried when i saw the condition of the tv. I saw a bunch of glue on the screen and all round the sides and it was covered in dust. I initially wanted to plug it in and test it before taking it but the staff at this store didn?t let me and assured me it would be fine and low and behold I went home plugged it in and it does not work. Its got 2 cracks on the side of the screen when you turn it on. To make things even worse they wont refund me my money and are saying that i must have damaged it when taking it home which i know a million percent is not true. I was very careful when taking it home. It was placed in my car with nothing else in it. There is no chance anything could have fallen on it or damaged it and i drove it home very carefully. Beware of this company they are a scam. They are not regulated by the financial conduct authority and there is nothing protecting you against their scams. There is no one that i can call or email or email to discuss this or check their cctv footage. I have just been robbed and there is nothing that i can do about it. I know for a fact if they checked their cctv footage at the store they would see that the staff didn?t check the tv or damaged it themselves at some point. This is daylight robbery and i cant believe this has happened. It?s beyond a joke. I have just been robbed of £170 and i have to just take it on the chin. CEX is a disgusting and it?s shameful the way I?ve been treated.

Bit of a disorganised mess unfortunately. Another store phoned ahead to check an item I was after, told it was in stock so reserved. Went to the store (a reasonable journey?), after quite some waiting.
Turned out there was an issue with the power supply (it had the wrong one which provided half the required wattage), so they had to cancel the order. So a waste of a ~2 hour round trip and a wasted tube fare.
No idea how it was properly checked before, nor how it was released from picking to be collected. Clearly wasn?t really tested if it had the wrong power supply.
Shop generally seemed messier than others I?ve seen - unless you?ve really got to go there for something specific, I?d go elsewhere. Wasted my time for around 30 mins or so, they could?ve just been honest from the start.
2 hours later and they still haven?t initiated the refund/cancelled the order despite being unable to provide the goods, which were ?Ready to Collect?.
Looks like my money will be held for a few days till the system auto-cancels the order?unless the store actually do it.
Edit: Finally received refund notification.
Also, seems like their 'response' missed the point. I didn't decline the product because of the power supply. The shop refused to sell it to me!

The staff in this store are great. Had a problem with my Google pixel fold and these guys got my phone triaged in 30 mins, with a warranty refund and a replacement phone (not another 1st gen fold thankfully...!) sorted shortly afterwards. They were helpful, friendly and just all around good people - thanks!

Good gaming and electronic store I got my ps5 and 3 games from here the service is quite slow and they don't really seem to care and they waste quite a bit of your time but the games and ps5 I bought was in mint condition and works really well
