I recently went to assist my dad with his banking issue, and I must say, the service we received was quite disappointing.The lady who served us had a rude demeanor from the start. When my dad presented his passport, she gave him a funny look and made a snide comment, asking if that was all. It was unnecessary and made us feel uncomfortable, so we ended up providing his driving license aswell. As i couldn't speak on his behalf a translator was needed which is understandable for security purposes. She asked what language dose your dad speak, when i told her she gave the same snidey expression.

Firstly, I came in around 11:45am and the queue was very long which meant that I had to wait around 50 minutes to be seen. I was told on phone by Barclays customer service that I had to go in with ID to get verification for my activation key.I went in and then they had issues with getting my activation key even though I had ID. The person I was talking to also had no idea about the help to buy scheme either so I felt the support was very poor during my visit.

JAI BHARTI IS AN EXCELLENT PERSON IN EDGWARE BRANCH SHE HELPED ME EVEN IT WASN'T HER FAULT BUT SHE MAKE IT CORRECT AND SAVED ME FROM GETTING IN TROUBLE. I REALLY APPRECIATE HER EFFORTS. TRULY A GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE PERSON

In my opinion it?s stupid to have the teller close at 2 o?clock may as well close the bank, they definitely need more staff at this branch as there was a long wait, the only credit I?m going to give them is that the staff were very nice and accommodating.

I arrived at 0940 on Monday, I was able to make an appointment to see a consultant at 1000.It was busy in branch, fairly long queues but every staff member I saw seemed to be on-it and helping as much as they could.For me personally, Savita did a great job resolving an issue with my account.

Incredibly poor experience. The bank account I have isn't eligible for online banking and I needed some historic statements printing.No one in the branch could help with this as they no longer print statements for their customers. I was told to use one of their machines but the machine only allowed printing the latest statement not a historic one.Told in branch to call customer services to sort the issue neither could help.I've been a barclays customer for 20 years but the level of customer service is now appalling I'll be withdrawing all my funds and closing my account

I'm opening new account with them.I started online and got reference number and as per email confirmation I need to book an appointment.So I called customer service. I was told no need to book an appointment and can simply walk-in.So I did and guess what..I was told that I really need to call customer service again to setup an appointment.I asked them why do I need to deal with their mistake for misinforming me.I just wasted my time going to their branch.I'll just consider other banks because of this experience.

Went into the store with relevant paperwork to change name. Waited to be seen for 1.5hrs. Employee wasted another 45mins trying to sell other products and taking copies of my documents. 1.5yrs later the statements still read my old name and when I rang to enquire about why I don't have a new card in my new name I was told the employee didn't request one so I either wait till the old card expires or go back instore (waste more precious time basically) with the same documents to request one. Wish there was an option to give less than 1 star! Useless staff!
