Lovely shop but just doesn?t meet its potential. Prices are so high therefore the rails are packed making it impossible to browse efficiently. The results are that takings re down and shop continues to get full of stock. At least 30% less on prices and 25% less on each rail and you?ll see a real uplift in takings.

Shelter...please provide SOP manual or training for your volunteers so they know how to void/amend transactions when they made a mistake instead of having to call the manager who's not onsite. I am all about supporting charities but having to 'involuntarily' pay extra (in the name of goodwill)because the staff can't work the till and are unable to amend the total shouldn't really be an excuse.

I had a shocking experience in this charity shop. I was browsing and picked up a jumper to have a closer look, then placed it back on the rail. The jumper was SLIGHTLY sticking out on the very packed rail (on its hanger), and as I went to the back of the store to look at the books, the shop attendant sat in my path. She told me I wasn?t ALLOWED to go and look at the books until I went back and placed the jumper ?exactly as it was before, because I am not your servant.? I was truly gobsmacked and asked, ?are you being serious?? She then confirmed she was being serious, and wouldn?t let me keep browsing until I had placed the jumper back immaculately. I could have made a scene with this extraordinarily rude woman, but I just put my hands up and left the store. This is a CHARITY shop, where people are looking to buy items for charity. Yes, she is a volunteer, but there is absolutely no need to treat customers like naughty schoolchildren. I?ve never been treated so rudely in such a place, and I?m entirely sure it?s because I look very young (I am 29). Sadly I will never return.

Ok selection of clothing, prices pretty high. Everything else ranged from overoriced to silly. Seems like many charity shops in tge area they are pricing based on the most expensive unsold items on ebay. Its a shame, would love to buy more from them but not paying double what I can pay online

Very expensive charity shop! I saw a few Poundland stuff (new one costs £1) were priced at £3! The staff clearly needs to price more fairly in order to sell.
