If you?re going here make sure you ask for Haj or Anita they are the diamonds in the dirt. They are polite, respectful, helpful and go out of their way to help solve issues and put any concerns at ease. Greeted with pleasant smiles always, My last visit they made me feel reassured as I had a concern regarding my eyes and for these two members of staff alone I would always come back despite living 20miles away.For the people who have given bad reviews, phone beforehand or ask for one of these two ladies and you will not be disappointed.

Please Avoid Avoid Avoid!I called in for a appointment and whilst on the phone to them I got a another important call from a withheld number so had to put them on hold for a few minutes. The lady hanged up but I later tried calling over 19 times only to be left waiting with no one answering my phone call. They were doing this on purpose and think it's funny.No matter what a customer may do, you have no reason to behave in such manner. Especially when their is a wide range of opticians to choose from.Go to Lais Opticians instead in Manor park located at 622 Romford Road. Just literally 5-10min down the road by bus from this place. Support local small businesses who value and appreciate customers.

AVOID AVOID AVOID AT ALL COST!!!Horrible experience. Appointment at 3pm got seen 3.30 but then it took 1 hr upstairs to be seen by another doctor. Had to go downstairs to speak to a member staff and found out that my mother name board was put to the side and me and my mother were sitting like idiots waiting upstairs. Then came down for another final test and once again kept us waiting like idiots for next 30mins upon we just left.Some of the opticians are just killing time at this branch they are not really even working just wasting time.had to tell 2 members of staff that my mother is waiting and finally had to go downstairs and ask again upon whoch finally they called us in. I was there at 3.05 and left 4.55 without completing all the tests required.Lied as well that there are no toilets to non customers. My wife was waiting for 2 hrs with my mother but was refused to use WCThis branch honestly needs better communication skills. We are not waiting to sit like idiots for hours.WORST EXPERIENCE EVER.

Had my sons glasses, some how they exchanged the prescription and gave the wrong lenses. Wife went back and they did not take any action other then checking and saying it takes time to get used to. After that my uncle went back and they did not entertain him and finally I decided to go with intention to argue but then they changes them and replaced them for FOC as if they did me a favour.

My first time at the Eastham branch it was an excellent service from one space to the other, everyone worked effectively and courteously to provide me a decent experience, which is rare to find these days.

Booked an appointment for eye health consultantation due to eye pain for my elderly mother.General store staff advised to not see the optician as said it was only due to her not wearing glasses and now my mother has ended up in the A&E due to the severe pain in her eye. Doctors diagnosed her saying it was completely unrelated to her wearing glasses and that it could've been dealt with sooner had she gone to a optician/doctor quicker.Cannot believe how they've treated us throughout this process. Sent in a formal complaint and cancelled my order for a refund and they still have not apologised for how this has been dealt. They've only given excuses with no sincerity at all.We were once loyal customers of specsavers for the great customer service but never again.

Went to specsavers for the forar time last year. They prescribed me with a minus power lense for my glasses. When I complained I cant see well in these, they said I just need time to adjust. A year later I went again and low and behold they admit to prescribing me with the wrong power, but I still had to pay for their mistake!

They don?t even pick up calls! Given them £10 extra for scan but they didn?t even sit down and talk about the results rather let us go and said they will call if things are not okay. I still wanted the reports and therefore went to the actual optician and the receptionist said they will email the reports. But I have still no sign of any reports. I try calling them everyday but they don?t pick up!!!!!

Several rude and unprofessional staff at this branch, to the extent of there being poor clinical quality.First time at this branch I had a very ill, rude optician who not only gave me her cold but sped through tests without telling me what they were and didn't tell me if I even needed new glasses. Then at a later appointment for contact lenses I ended up waiting 20mins before giving up and walking out after someone took my appointment time while others went to their later appointments with other opticians before me, and no update whatsoever on why I was waiting. Absolutely terrible treatment after spending so much at Specsavers.I've already complained, worth looking outside of East Ham for optician services.

Let me tell you about my experience today. I went in for a contact lense check. I wait for 40 minutes to be seen. One of their members of staff actually looked at me like i was crazy when i went up to the counter to complain. She then turned to another customer and smirked. Seriously? Not even an apology? And then when i am finally in the room, i am told that they can't see me because they don't have my prescription available in the lenses that i wear. One of their members of staff called me yesterday to confirm my attendence. She asked me if i had contact lenses and i told her that i had run out. She still told me to come in. They wasted 40 minutes of my time for nothing. Unorganized and untrained. AVOID AVOID AVOID.

Consultation went great and staff was nice. I got a text to collect my glasses. What a bizarre experience. I waited there for 30 minutes. Saw 2 people that came after me collecting their glasses. Not nice. There was no control over who was there to collect, be tested or other services. When the attendant finally came to ask who was next to collect glasses, I said I was, she ignored me and blatantly looked at the guy next to me (that arrived way after me) and started attending him. Up to this point, I was amused by how slow and unbothered the staff were but then I couldn't stand that treatment anymore and left without my glasses. I complained to someone on the ground floor. I'm not expecting anything to be done. Will try again maybe next week just because I have to since I already paid for the glasses.

Annoyed that glasses collection closes at 5.30 pm. I finish work at 5 pm and I am sorry but I can't snap my fingers to magically appear at the shop to collect the glasses on time. I perhaps should go on benefits so then I can do everyday mundane stuff like stupid collection of glasses. Also Specsavers' obsession with pushing sales of disposable contact lenses annoys me. Don't they realise how much plastic packaging it will produce to use new pair of lenses very day? Why don't they consider the effect of so much plastic the planet? Social and environmental benefits go hand in hand but Specsavers don't care.

I was given an appointment for eye test on 01/01/2023 at 16:00. They even send me a text confirmation. Called the store making the trip and there was no answer. Physically made the trip regardless and found them to be shut! No one from the store bothered to inform me about it. Would not recommend this place to anyone. Extremely disappointed. Very unprofessional.
