This place is a disgrace . Dropped off an Amazon package via Evri where it clearly states you don?t need to package the item. The incredibly rude man behind the counter said I would have to provide an envelope but I would have to pay for it. I didn?t have money on me and he flatly refused to help. I went back to my car where I found an envelope that was torn and went back and asked for a bit of sellotape to seal and he refused . He clearly scams customers so that they will reluctantly buy an overpriced envelope in order to get their package sent . If you go further down the High Road there is another store that took my Evri package and put it in the Amazon bag /envelope as per normal . Avoid this place at all costs

Excellent match attax selection, got 100 club Saka (you wouldn't believe the hologram). Can't recommend highly enough, barisic heritage edition is in there somewhere I know it.

Most small shops in East Finchley has super nice staff? these guys just aren?t. Open the latest so maybe they are fed up with customers that come in late but they just aren?t helpful or nice

Everi parcels should NOT be allowed to arrive or get sent from here. Poorly run shop and staff literally don't care if things work or not. Machines are always broken, people in charge of post don't know how to do their job. Most infuriating place, just avoid it.

The premier room was very good, but the positive stops there. For the amount you pay for this hotel, the staff are absolutely useless as it?s run by a mob of incapable young people. Fire drill, which was of course a false alarm from the hotel next door!!! - but still had to walk down 14 flights of stairs with a chest flu, barely passed us an apology for not putting an announcement through the system to tell us it was a false alarm (that just topped off our bad experience overall). They mixed up room cleaning requests and you even have to physically go down to reception to ask for a room clean (no phone to reception!!!) hairdryer blew up, hot tap stuck on scalding heat, restaurant lunch waiter was rude when all I wanted was a kids pasta (as they don?t even have pasta on the adult menu). Considering we have spent $6000 in this hotel, you would think I could have been greeted with a smile when asking for a small bowl of pasta! No phone to reception, you have to ring on your international mobile phone, and when it finally does get answered, they have to go away and ?check? and leave you sitting on your mobile phone for another 5 mins. Don?t pay for premium internet, it?s no different to the useless free wifi and it keeps cutting out all the time. To some up this hotel - staff are useless and all we get are excuses excuses and excuses!

A quiet and comfortable stay in Central London, lovely staff, well up to PI standard. I would particularly like to commend our server in the restaurant, Tyrone. Only he and the manager were on duty there, so they were at least two servers short. The restaurant was very busy yet Tyrone maintained a calmness and politeness that belied how exhausted he looked. Well done Tyrone.

Booked their superior room and was well worth the extra money. Air conditioning, nice toiletries, coffee marker, a choice of teas, chocolates and a fridge with still and sparkling water. On top on the normal took facilities. Will definitely book one of these from now onwards. View from the 19th floor was spectacular too of the London skyline. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices. All staff friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Would definitely book this hotel and about 10 minutes walk from London Paddington railway station.

We have stayed in many PIs over the year as a family and this one wasn't the worst, or the best. Good bits: * Location - 5 minutes from Paddington and Edgware Road Tube Station * Air conditioning (absolutely necessary in a hot city centre!) * Staff were wonderful and friendly * Comfortable beds * Good selection of additional pillows in the room * Plenty of space for two adults and two teens * Price was reasonable for the location * Early check in available (£10 additional cost) * Nearby amenities - shops, restaurants, pubs etc. Not so good bits: * As others have mentioned, it's the breakfast. The food itself was fine, but the massive queues on each of the morning's we were there could have been resolved by having additional staff on duty to clear tables and replenish items. I would return for right price, but I probably wouldn't bother with breakfast.

Our experience was great. All staff are very attentive and try to help with anything from directions in London to finding your way around the building. The lovely Tyrone in the restaurant shone with his own special brand of charme. The Premier Inn is centrally located, but it is a while to walk to the next Underground Station. Ashley and Maud

A great location for travelling to Paddington and for exploring London. Quiet, clean and modern. The room was a good size with everything needed. Although it overlooked a main road, there was no traffic noise.

I'm a bit fatigued with Premier Inn having stayed in a number of them, so I found this unexciting. It was busy in mid-August, particularly around breakfast and the lifts etc, so not the most relaxing atmosphere. Cooling the room relied on an air con which didn't seem particularly effective - the room was on the warm side with a family of 4 sharing. I like the location though - Paddington Basin is pleasant (though modern/corporate so perhaps not the most characterful location) and Paddington Station is a 5 minute walk.

Just home from an excellent 2 night stay at Paddington Basin Premier Inn. As ever with Premier Inn, incredibly comfortable beds and the formula works well. Do book breakfast in advance if you want it and bear in mind there is a left luggage facility. However, the key point regarding this stay was the wonderful staff. From housekeeping, to kitchen and bar staff, to foyer staff and managers -they were all so helpful, considerate and friendly. It created such a pleasant atmosphere throughout our stay, since the staff appeared happy in their employment.

Looks smart but, very long, hot corridors. Lots of stairs even to first floor. No natural light in my room as hotel is an odd shape. Actual entrance is completely opposite side of the building to where taxi can drop off, as its down a small pedestrian only side street. Restaurant staff not very welcoming. I am in London on treatment but was turned away from breakfast as I had not booked! At no time before or since have I been advised booking is required for breakfast, only dinner. The "head"? Waiter was not pleasant and I shall certainly not return.
