Alan's Records is a gem of a shop. The owner is knowledgeable, friendly and helpful man who has a genuine passion for vinyl and extensive experience. The store has a wide selection of LP's from all genres although it has a particularly excellent Jazz section amongst others. The pricing is fair, and reasonable.

Great and 'proper' used record shop. Alan was friendly and very welcoming. Stock caters for every genre you could think of. Prices are very reasonable. What more could you want? Highly recommended.

It's a bit chaotic with a huge number of records piled everywhere but the main categories are fairly well organised and prices are reasonable. Well worth a visit if you collect vinyl.

Great collection of vinyl records, especially in jazz, hip hop and reggae. Friendly staff, by which I mean the owner Alan who is very kind and a pleasure to chat with. Had a great time browsing through the store, and Alan even allows customers to play any record of their choosing on the store's in house player. Great experience would come back again any time I visit London.

One of the best record shops in London. Good prices and great selection of music on vinyl & CD. Be prepared to spend a few hours digging the crates. It's worth it!

Great selection -- I like to pop in when I'm in that neck of the woods, and I can always look forward to picking up a couple of gems for my collection. There's a wide range of stock, and plenty to flick through. While Alan tends to put his prices at the top of the Discogs range, he always knocks a bit off.

Best record shop by far excellent selection of records across many genres fairly priced and a really nice owner if your into vinyl records this shop is a must visit if your thinking of visiting during the weel its highly recommended to ring the shop beforehand just to confirm he will be in the shop on the day

Excellent shop, packed with secondhand treasures. I feel I only scratched the surface of what was there on my first visit. Lovely to be browsing racks and listening to other shoppers? picks, all in the company of my 17-year-old son (introducing him to this kind of music purchasing). Great staff. We will be back.
