a great pub with a huge beer garden, which is perfect for a sun soaked summer drink. Always friendly and Sam and his team have been fantastically welcoming to me and my colleagues from the local school.

Good rare roast beef Sunday dinner and lovely baked cheesecake dessert. Good service, helpful staff.
Parking: There are clear signs in the car park that say you have to register on an ipad inside the pub so that you are not charged for parking. There are clear signs to the ipad and more parking information signs inside the pub. No excuse not to realize this!

Went to the pub for the euros, food was great, very nice atmosphere and great service from the bar staff. Special mention to the professional Nico and James, who served us our drinks and food and the pub manager Sam who made sure we had a good time.

We?ve recently just moved next door to The Plough pub and we?ve had a fantastic experience everytime thanks to Nico. He's an outstanding bartender who truly goes above and beyond for his customers.
His warm and friendly demeanor makes everyone feel welcome, and he always remembers regulars by name!
If you're visiting The Plough, make sure to have Nico serve you?you won't be disappointed! Highly recommended.

Couldn?t decide what to have as everything looked so good on the menu. As it was a Sunday I finally decided on a roast and it did not disappoint. Everything from the meat to the roast potatoes were just on point.Great food and lovely atmosphere. What more can you ask for.

We had a late lunch. The premises were lovely, the food was really nice and plenty of it (although I don't recommend the chips-they tasted like dry oven chips which I really don't like in any circumstances at all, so not the establishment's fault). We sat in the garden. There was plenty of room for the baby buggy. We noticed gates leading to the busy road, but there was a bolt at the top making it safe for younger children. A pleasing detail. The young man who waited on our table was really polite and respectful of my sleeping grandson.Kid-friendliness: The garden was spacious and the gates lockable. Worth noting though, was that a few patrons did not lock the gates behind them, so do keep an eye out as the road beyond is very busy.
