Nice, large garden but the food was very low rate? For a place that calls itself a BBQ shack the beef burger and fries were a let down. Very cheap ingredients and a few fries?

Great beer garden, fun pub quiz, good food.

Great garden for sunny days, lots of space. Decent selection of beers including locals from Gipsy Hill Brewery. Only downside is some punters have a tendency to form a queue at the bar which is a very odd vibe.

We had a delightful lunch at The Hearne Tavern. The meal was very good with generous portions and well presented. Good selection of beers to choose from. We sat outside in the beer garden and were very well served. All the staff were attentive and very obliging. I would recommend this place and we will go back again.

The Herne Tavern in Peckham is seriously cool! Being the wedding DJs for Ella & Sam there, we had an amazing night. The staff were not just friendly, they were really, really helpful. From setting up our equipment to keeping the party going smoothly, they were on top of everything. If you're looking for a top-notch pub with great vibes and fantastic staff, The Herne Tavern is definitely the place to be!

Food was good, but the staff didn?t really seem to want to be there (I get it I?ve worked in hospitality my whole life, but don?t show the customer that). Made me feel so awkward when I had to take my drink back because the lemonade in the hose had run out and somehow I got soda water or flat lemonade or something. I get that lots of people are rude but I was so nice about it and they made it unnecessarily awkward.
