Again, today, I was chosen for a check at the checkout. This seem to happen every week. However, today was worse as ALL the items in my trolley were rechecked!!
I have been a Sainsbury's customer for more years than I can recall and generally have been satisfied but WHY am I always chosen. I am NOT a thief and I find this humiliating.

Sainsbury's champion Hill is a classic large Sainsbury's set within a relatively affluent area.
It borders on the Dulwich Hamlet home groumd (not sure of name of stadium) Which means it is likely to be bustling on a matchday especially within the 2 hours before kick off as there are limited other lingering spots in the immediate vicinity.
The shop itself is well appointed as to be expected. No issues finding what I was looking for and the service was all good. Queue for tills not too long at c.15:30 on a Sunday (closes at 17:00 on sundays)

Lovely staff helpful and friendly. But this place is badly managed. The design of the place with the huge carpark in front was intended to break up the shops on the New Cross road and take their business. It?s a long walk from the road and the station. Often regular products are not there. And watch out for the sudden slope that runs down one of the aisles

Unfortunately like most UK supermarkets, a poor experience! While they theoretically have everything you'd need, it's rare that I can get everything on my list as they always seem to be out of basic things like milk, onions, etc. I've recently switched to click and collect as the in store staff are unhelpful, usually in the way picking orders when you're trying to shop and will not move. It's inner London so you can't expect decent quality staff.

It's OK. No real complaints. It had what I was looking for. Felt like I caught them off guard, shopping at opening time. I get the transition from night operation to day trading can be fraught if you've had a 70+ cage delivery show up late and you're rushing to clear it and the shop floor, before the night staff go home. Not that I know if this actually happened. It would explain the slightly disjointed experience if it did.Either way, not really a problem. I would shop here again.
