“The owners here are very community-oriented and that is so rare to see in a shop these days. There's been a couple of times I've walked in with less change than required and heard "just get me next time" (when do you hear that these days?!)Shop has everything you would need in a pinch (beyond fresh groceries obviously) but if you are stuck - they have it. Be that dry/tinned goods/personal care.the essentials or homewares.Unsure about last review, this place gets a lot of traffic via parcel collection/return as well as regular customers and I've never seen it handled less than courteously - and I am in there regularly.”

“The Co-op on Forest hill road is a great little store. Nice staff and a good selection of groceries, cards and flowers. The best thing about this store is the lovely Sumi. She is very friendly and helpful and really makes a good atmosphere in the store. Great job Sumi!”

“A welcome alternative to the two upper-market supermarket alternatives in the downstream half of Lordship Lane SE locale. Great for the swift, brief, pop in, pay and pop out early-afternoon transaction as in my case. I loved it and hope to do it again, soon.”

“Conveniently located along a busy road and near an equally busy junction and a stone throw from bus stops on all 4 sides of the junction. Excellent for buying usual household needs and that quick lunchpack or snack plus soft drink. Friendly and courteous floor staff. Highly regarded and ecommendable.”

“Very handy shop but some of the staff are rude and cannot be bothered to answer you they talk across the shop to each other in their own dialect which on its own they shouldn't be doing and these are the managers their attitude is horrible I worked for sainsburys for a lot of yrs so I know what I,m talking about managers in the past have been really helpful and nice this current ones are terrible.and the staff don't seem happy.sorry for the negative feedback I used to like going there but not now .”
