The gym is incredibly clean and has a lovely atmosphere. There is a big variety in what you can do and it is very well equipped ! A big thank you to Pavlos, in particular, who was very helpful and welcoming!

Absolutely love this gym! The facilities are top-notch, the environment is always welcoming, and the people make it even better. I love the strength classes recently, it feels so nice having an instructor who dedicates effort and time. Pavlos has been a great help and you can see he genuinely cares. I believe he is the product manager there. Honestly, I?m coming back just for his class.

The Wandsworth pool is OK, but as with other Virgin clubs there's a confusion between lane/fitness swimming and spa swimming which results in some lane swimming requirements not being in place. It is a 25m pool with good lane ropes, flags and a pace clock. However there are no lane markings on the pool floor, and the pool is very dimly lit. This means it's difficult to tell where you and others are in the lane and to keep to the correct side of the lane. Turns are tricky because there's no 5m line and an underwater light by the wall that blinds you as you approach. It's fine for a gentle/cautious swim but be aware that visibility is limited and risk of collision with other swimmers or with the wall is high! So would not attempt a high energy swim session here.

The level of cleanliness in this club is unacceptable and disgusting, essentially unhygienic. The worst virgin club I?ve been to and will avoid altogether. Urgently needs a full renovation.

Since Mo became manager, Virgin Active Wandsworth has been completely revitalised. The gym is cleaner, the team morale is higher, and customer service is outstanding.
Mo is always visible and approachable ? he sits with members and staff rather than staying in an office, which makes such a difference.
A real breath of fresh air ? the club has never felt better!

This is a really well equipped gym over 3 floors. Maintenance and cleaning are kept up to date, so you don't find broken kit or dirty showers. You can do pretty much anything you want - from classes, though machines to free weights. The top floor has most free weights, plenty of squat racks and bars and weights. So recommended. It also seems to attract a good number of keen people i.e. not people who sit on machines starting endlessly at their mobile phones, an irritation for me.

I?ve been a member for over two years now. I swim every week day. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The pool is a great size.
I love starting my day with a swim and shower.
Great value and so well located
I left after a big price hike.
Joined Nuffield Health and got a better price than I was paying before the price hike. I?m a pensioner and I only swim

The front staff have been extremely helpful and friendly I think the sauna and streamroom are extremely well maintained and looked after.
If you like training followed by a sauna I highly recommend this gym.
Sure they have some bad reviews but honestly its not that bad.
5 starts from me and and ten to the front desk staff.
Don't let the one starts scare you its a good gym with good facilities and good staff
