I tried to make an appointment with Nationwide for last week. I was told that was impossible due to staff shortages. I was given an appointment for 10am today. 9am is not possible because of staff training. I was sent 2 reminders in the last couple of days. I turned up early. I was told there was no one available, firstly becaause phone in sick. Then I asked to see manager and was told the manager wasnt in and would be in later. I am so dissappoin ted and out of pocket. I am self employed and had to take a half day off for this appointment. They are extremely incompetent uncaring and unprofessional.Damien Martin sw18

Terrible!!! I went in to the branch to file POA paperwork and they told me I had to call up and make an appointment. But no-one ever answers the phone.

I have been a customer here for a while. Never had any problems. Best staff members are Leo and the other young guy on the front counters.

Bad customer service. They were dismissive when I tried to get advice on what to submit as evidence to request a credit card. The bank itself posted a letter advising me to go to my branch in person, then when I went they wouldn't see me. I said I could wait but they said just to send everything via post. .. Now after calling Head office every day for a week I find that I need a specific document and what I sent is not enough. I would've known this from the beginning if they would've spoken to me. The management needs to change.

No information about local branch closing , Clapham Jc . Went to Balham office also closed, went on too Wandsworth also closed , while I appreciate there would be problems with us having a pandemic. But please have the Decency to inform your customers that you are closing and what branch we need to get to especially as we are on lockdown what are we supposed to do when we have got a book account can?t get any funds out I need to go to Timbuktu to get what is ours . My lloyds card isnt compatible with their atms
