Awful Kitchen installation experience!
We were assigned a tradesperson through Wickes to complete our kitchen renovation project.
We queried the builder we were assigned but we're told categorically that they were handpicked and had done a lot of great projects. Trustpilot indicated otherwise but we trusted in Wickes and that there was a Workmanship guarantee.
There are many faults with our kitchen installation from splash back coming off walls , broken sealant that needs to be redone less than 11 months on, a floor that moves and plug points that don't all work to mention a few issues.
We have had to contact Wickes head office as the assigned Tradesman has been delisted as someone that works with Wickes funnily enough.
We have spoken to Wickes on a couple of occasions and heard nothing for more than 3 weeks .
Having a new kitchen and renovation done was a big and costly decision but we trusted in Wickes and thier Guarantee.
As it stands we are left with no support or Resolutions

The service quality is very bad. I haven?t received a refund for more than a week after canceling the order. I was ruling all kinds of things, and even the staff ignored me and asked me to wait at the service desk, wasting my time!

I ordered two items on the 30 minute click and collect. I didn't receive the text notifying me I could collect for two hours.
When I arrived there were no customers waiting, the lady at the checkout told me to go wait T another counter and that she couldn't leave her checkout.
I was there only person at the counter until another couple came over. The Wickes employee came over to help them and told me I had to wait.
nother Wickes employee came over, at this point more customers had arrived and the employee asked who was next. The other customer said that I was next but the first employee said that I had to wait for her.
She said the other couple had been waiting five minutes but they weren't there when I arrived, they were looking Round the store.
She went back on herself when she said she couldn't leave her counter. She did when she saw this couple. There were no other customers when I initially approached her.
Im unhappy with being treated this way.
This isn't my first negative experience with Wickes south ealing. The staff, specifically on weekends treat you disrespectfully. Check the other reviews on this page.

Convenient shop with stock of building material for all kinds of work. A bit disappointed on the quality of timber as I bought four large pieces of pinewood among which one of them was actually a bit damaged upon closer inspection (some cracks on the side and pieces of wood not properly glued together).

Visited this Wickes the other day and went on my bike. After paying for my goods, I didn't have a bag and they don't sell any at the till. Very helpful and friendly staff gave a me a bag for free. Thank you.

I am deeply disappointed with Wickes' handling of a recent issue. I purchased engineered wood flooring for a client project, and after installation, discoloration occurred in the kitchen area. Despite the product being advertised as suitable for underfloor heating, the discoloration appears to be a result of a defect.
The customer service experience was frustrating and far from helpful. After reaching out, I was directed to the manufacturer, Woodpecker Flooring, for advice. The solution they offered was to attempt treatments such as hydrogen peroxide and bleach, which is not an acceptable or practical fix for a product that was sold with a warranty.
What?s most concerning is the lack of urgency or responsibility taken by Wickes in resolving the issue. Instead of offering a clear resolution, I was left waiting and dealing with a series of ineffective suggestions. I?m now in a position where I will need to reorder the same product at my own expense to address the problem for my client.
While I understand that warranty terms exist, the customer service I received was disappointing, and I feel that Wickes could have done much more to support its customers. For anyone considering purchasing from Wickes, I would recommend being cautious, as their warranty and support system fell short in this instance.
I hope this feedback helps others make an informed decision.

I ordered a Kärcher K5 Pressure Washer, but what arrived was a K2 Compact in a badly re-taped, previously opened box. Inside, everything was covered in dust, and several parts were missing. Clearly, this was not the new product I paid for.
To make matters worse, after waiting in all day for delivery, customer service was unhelpful and reluctant to offer any real resolution. I had to argue just to get free delivery as compensation, which hardly makes up for the hassle.
Overall, a frustrating and disappointing experience. Next time, I?ll be buying from Toolstation instead!

Had a member of staff talk to me like I was something on his shoe! He did the same to another guy, but he wasn?t as polite as me .
Cancelled my order before the deadline, then try to blame me, even when I called the store to say I was arriving in the morning, there?s a few staff there that need to be spoken too, under no circumstances can you speak rudely to customer. I?m think I may cancel my pro card and go elsewhere, too much stress- the weird thing is no one in a higher position give a damn! So rude I can?t even explain , I hate this place.
