High wycombe branch, staff never approach you to ask if you need any help which the customers face clearly shows that you do need some sort of service. They're too busy looking at themselves infront of the mirror and talking about their Friday nights plans. Such a shame, this place used to be great with lovely, welcoming and helpful staff. After giving this ace now four go's of 'will I get any customer service today', I'm done.

River Island was better with their styles years ago. These days it's really boring, tastless dull looking clothes and shoes for women. Very disappointing. It doesn't match up to the name anymore. They need to get better designers in.

After purchasing a lovely new pair of shoes and saving them for best. I took them on holiday last week. The shoes have literally been worn 2 times before this trip. The rod to fasten the strap has come free and I couldn?t wear my new shoes. I visited the Chesterfield store today to be told, even though they are evidently faulty, because it is over 6 months, there is nothing that can be done. No apology, the Chesterfield manager didn?t even have the decency to come over and sent the assistant. I?ve spoken to the care line who have just about said the same. So I?m left with a lovely new pair of black satin shoes that are useless. The service has been very disappointing and obviously I won?t be buying any more from River Island.

Zero stars for customer service 11:28 21/07/23 (reception) I just called them up to say I have lost my driving license in the store in Stratford Westfield they said I have to keep on trying them no help what so ever however from head office?????? on the phone eating too busy to help at all

I absolutely love your store and clothes. However, my heart sinks every time I see Evri as a delivery option when I order online. My items either never arrive in time or at all. If I was to make a suggestion, it would be to NEVER use these as a courier ever again. Their service is poor

I would urge no one to buy from River Island. I have had a very bad experience from the store in Basildon and even their head office is absolutely unprofessional, rude and very unhelpful staff. I have spent around £400 in the store and have been a loyal customer. Have I wanted to return a boxer shorts that were in the original package untouched and they refuse as this was not in their policy. I explained that this is not meant on the receipt neither did the sales assistant mention this at till point. All that she said was that there was a small song at the till. I find that absolutely stupid when ur shopping and have kids with, you would not expect to read a small print on the till. Also out of curtsey they could of mentioned this. Absolutely disgusting service and no understanding of customer service these days!! Did not expect this from a company like River Island, even Primark have better customer service. they mislead customers stating the return policy is on the receipt when it doesn?t state this!! Never will be shopping with River Island again!! Store colleague need training as well has head office staff!!! I wouldn?t even rate as 1 start but had no choice!!!

I have had a terrible time trying to spend a one4all on the River Island sight! It has been one nightmare after the other. First I wasn?t able to buy a bag with it despite trying a hundred times! Then after a lot of research it said you had to change the one4all for river island vouchers, but by that time I was so flustered I put the wrong numbers for my email address. I rang river island to tell them straight away but the were so unhelpful! The lady in customer services said I would have to wait until Monday until reporting it! She was also quite rude. Which means it will probably be spent by someone else. So upset as I wanted to buy a bag for my daughters birthday. I found the whole experience most upsetting!
