I had romana vegan girardunara. I felt it had way too much onion. It was okay. I have had in the past but it has never had too much onions.

Pizza Express on Bond Street is a well-known spot in London's bustling shopping district, offering a variety of Italian-inspired dishes with a focus on their signature pizzas. The restaurant is part of the larger Pizza Express chain, which has been serving customers since 1965. Known for its casual dining atmosphere and consistent food quality, this location should ideally provide a reliable dining experience. However, my recent visit highlighted several areas for improvement.
Upon arrival, we were seated promptly, but the service that followed was disappointingly slow. We had to wait over half an hour before our order was taken, which is quite unusual for a chain that prides itself on efficiency. The restaurant was very hot, adding to the discomfort of the long wait. We also had to ask multiple times for water before it was finally brought to our table, which further detracted from the overall dining experience.
Despite these service issues, the food quality remained high. The pizzas were well-prepared with fresh ingredients and a perfectly crispy crust. Popular choices like the American Hot and Margherita were delicious and met the high standards typically associated with Pizza Express. The variety on the menu ensures there is something for everyone, from classic pizzas to innovative seasonal offerings.
Interesting fact: Pizza Express was founded by Peter Boizot, who brought a pizza oven from Naples and a chef from Sicily to recreate authentic Italian pizzas in the UK. The Bond Street location, like many others, features live jazz performances, a tradition that started with the opening of the first Pizza Express Jazz Club in Soho in 1969.
In conclusion, while the food at Pizza Express on Bond Street lives up to the brand's reputation, the slow service and uncomfortable environment during my visit were notable drawbacks. I hope these issues are addressed to enhance the dining experience. For a reliable pizza fix in a historic setting, this location still holds promise if the service improves.

I especially like the ROMANA PIZZA here, especially the ones served with lemon or lime are juicy and delicious! The staff always treats customers kindly, so it's a store I'd like to visit again.

A nice little pizzeria spread across UK.
The taste of the food is really great.
Service is quite slow ? but the staff is very friendly and cheerful.
If I have to choose any pizzeria I always go for PIZZA EXPRESS.

Nice waiter and pizza reliable. Manager was sultry and gave us a table next to the bins. We had flies from bins flying over our table.
