Very strange shop...Called on the 14th Nov to visit on the 15th to hire a black suit for a funeral. The date required for the hire is the 20th. (This is London, that's LOADS of time). They apparently need 2 weeks notice prior to the hire and told me to go somewhere else. That's fine...I'll take my business elsewhere. But they have just missed out on some very easy money...In this climate, hire street businesses turning away customers due to their own silly internal timeframes is weird. But apparently I can purchase a new suit...thanks Moss Bros...

It's silly how unwelcoming staff is here. I wanted to get something fitted, but I couldn't communicate with them, they just answer with "yes" and "no", zero effort.

The most rude and unhelpful staff. I greeted loud and clear the three shop assistant in the counter, they look at me one second and they didn't even say anything. A few seconds ago I requested to try a shirt size 15 shirt. The shop assistant told me to try 15,5 because they do not have a shirt 15 opened even I told him that is big for me (all this with aggressive tone and calling me boss.I try this out and It's was big, of course. Other shop assistant gave me 15 size shirt a while after that after chasing him.I decided to buy the shirt going to the counter and but another shop assistant keep me standing there while he is doing nothing for a 2 minutes. After asking him to buy the shirt (because he was ignoring me) he told me that they don't have it even I did not specify colour, fit, or fabric.... I decided to don't spend my money and I left the store

If we could give 0 stars we would.My best mate was getting married and I was being his best man. We decided to visit the Ealing Broadway branch to hire our suits for his big day.We booked an appointment online to have professional suit fitting measurements (this was 2 month before the wedding) . When we arrived at the Ealing Branch we was dealt with by a man who helped us select our suits and wrote down our measurements. He explained that he doesn?t work in that branch but was covering that day.We trusted the assistant knew what he was doing and paid towards the hiring of the suits. The assistant explained th when we receive confirmation at the end of April to collect the suits, it was advisable to collect on the 1st May as the wedding was on the 5th May in Devon.I received the confirmation of collection of suits in April however, I was unable to collect the suits on the 1st May due to work commitments but went to the shop first thing on the 2nd May.When I got there I gave the store manager the collection order. He went off to look for it. Soon after he came back and explained that they don?t have the suits in. He went back to look again to double check but again came back empty handed. He explained that he thinks that the suits had either been given to another customer or was sent back accidentally.Bearing in mind this was the 2nd May and the wedding was on the 5th but we was heading down to Devon on rhe 4th we only had a day to sort things out. The manager decided to re order the suits and arranged express next day delivery with DPD. The following day 3rd May. We never heard anything from the store about the suits. I contacted them during the early afternoon and they said that they hadn?t yet been delivered. By 4.45 I contacted the store and they said that the suits still hadn?t arrived. I received a DPD message saying delivery would be between 5-6pm. At 5.30 we contacted the store again and was told again , no suits. Myself and my wife went to the store and arrived there at 5.45pm still no suits. The store was closing at 6pm, we began to panic and we was leaving for Devon the following morning.We quickly popped to another shop as the suits hadn?t arrived and whilst we was in the other shop we received a call from Moss Bros store manager letting us know the suits had just arrived at 6pm.We was not asked or advised to try the suits on due to the shop now closed.The following morning we took the suits with us to Devon for the wedding as the groom to be moved to Devon.The morning of the wedding (the following day) I put on my suit and noticed the trousers was far too short, they was above my ankles. I looked like a clown. I quickly informed the groom to come to my hotel and try his suit on. He came within 10 minutes of my call. He tried on his suit and not only was his too short it was too tight too. Bearing in mind we are 6ft and 6ft 1 tall and we was given trousers of a 30 & 31 inch leg. We normally wear 34 long legs.My wife called up Ealing Moss Bross and explained that we was not happy and that not only had then caused stress on getting the suits due to their incompetence we now had 2 suits which was too short and too tight for the best man and groom.. I explained that we was in Devon and the wedding was taking place in 2 hours time. They rushed to Moss Bros which would take them 30 mins drive to get there. They only had an hour spare before the wedding. They ended up having to buy suit and trousers as they did not have anything they could hire and didn?t have time for them to alter the leg length of the trousers & get a new suit.All of this stress encured the bride to be extremely emotional, ruining all her make up which she had professionally had done also the stress for the groom and best man having to rush around then the groom have to pay out extra for a new suit and trousers as they was unable to wear the hired suits.We contacted Ealing Moss Bros with regards the a full refund on the purchased suit due to their incompetence of measurements etc. 1 month later still no refund. AVOID!!

Popped in to get some ideas for an upcoming Xmas do. All staff were friendly and attentive. Served by Errol who was super helpful and very knowledgeable on the best fits and styles for my body type. Ordered a stylish and well priced suit that will be perfect for a host of occasions.Excellent products and service would definitely recommend ?

I have been in Hammersmith, Oxford street, shepherds bush bank, always great, however in Ealing the experience was poor, no one greeted me when I came in, even if I said good morning very nicely clearly and loud, they would just look at me, and not reply, the shop was not busy at all but no one ever came to me asking if I needed any help, the staff was just hanging around chilling, I had to chase people around asking for help, if they said that something was not available or whatsoever they would not offer an alternative or anything, I had to ask and find my own solutions.. and after having requested some help and try things on, they would not follow up, I had to chase them again. When I unfold the shirt to wear it at my wedding, it had a stain. When I left no one said anything even if I clearly nicely and loudly said ?good by and have a lovely day?, I even stopped and stared back to double check, but they would just ignore, one of them even looked at me but said nothing, it was a super weird experience.

I thought it was only Westfield Stratford CS was awful but going into this branch (on 4th Feb at around 11:00am) was not any good either. I was looking for something light to wear for mild winter coz I am going abroad to country where winter is not too harsh. MOment I touched something on display an aged gentleman appeared and started staring at me. God know whey? I asked hi anymore stock for bigger size, his reply was what you see here is only available stock. Another customer came in and picked up a trouser probably he didn't like so put it back that when this salesman came started moaning about the customer that why he didn't fold it and put it back where he picked up. In short the guy on store didnt want to even bother about checking the stock, he was really wearing "I am annoyed" label on his face. Either they are not paid enough or they have become lazy because they cant work from home....... Any way there was next and M&S right in front of them so losing genuine customer good luck to you Moss Bros

Amazing staff who are helpful, make choosing different suits very easy. When I went to return an item they made the process very smooth and simple - excellent and would return again.

We made a fitting appointment for hiring a black tie suit. Turned out we couldn?t hire for the next day(s) because there?s no stock, the shop manager was not apologetic but advised us to buy a suit instead. When we explained we?d go check out other stores, he mentioned that we would come back because other stores don?t sell black tie suits. If you need to hire a suit don?t go here, it?s only if your event is at least 2 weeks away and also don?t buy a polyester suit here but go across the street to M&S and buy a wool suit for the same price would be my advice!

I was serviced by Tashar, ask for him, he is amazing. I went to the store to buy a two peice suit (black) and dress shoes during my lunch break, he helped me to pickout the best fitting blazer for me within mintues, I am 6'5 tall and have trouble finding the correct size. They didn't have my size in store but was able to try on different color blazers to find the best fitting one for my black blazer so they ordered one to the store to pickup later. I was helped with selecting the best fitting trousers too, perfect length and width. Great service, product, and would recommend coming here for your formal clothing purchases.

I wished to buy a three piece suit, but the costumer service was way beyond unacceptable. The employees were hidious.The had nasty comments about me during my time in the chainging room. "I don't like than guy." "Me neither" etc.I'll never go back there ever again.That place seriously need new staff ASAP.

Second time I've been to this branch of Moss Bros and it was a similar experience. I fully empathise with the employees who are dealing with under staffing and apparently dysfunctional computer system (maybe get this fixed guys?). However, it doesn't excuse the quite frankly bizarre customer service. Making customers feel like they're an inconvenience to you isn't a great look.
