“I was assisted by a member of staff called James(?), who kindly let me look at product reviews on his own phone so that I could choose which alarm clock to buy for my son. Thanks very much!”

“I like this shop because it has everything I need: Vegetables, fruits, cheese, milk, bread, etc. and there are, most of times, very few people. In these times of confinement, it is the best to avoid spending too much time in a supermarket and outside.”

“particularly this store manager is very good. i am giving 5 stars to store manager who is so helpful. Last month cashpoint fraud happened with me. ATM machine retained my card when i put my card in to the machine to withdraw cash and £500 was gone from my bank account. i got my money refund just because store manager. god bless him. ”

“Staff are friendly and always willing to help. Service is fast and although sometimes busy, there is always a member of staff who jumps on the till to clear the queue quickly. They continued to serve customers and worked extra hard at the beginning and during the pandemic to deliver. I for one thank them for that, and for them to be able to have to put up with some miserable rude customers that I have seen, I take my hat of too them for that too!”

“This is my local convenience store and it’s great. I’m surprised by the reviews stating ‘rude staff’. Over the decade/s of using this store I’ve only been met by friendly, helpful & polite staff. It’s the people using the shop and their attitudes that let this place down. Civility, general manners and respect either never existed or are forgotten crossing the threshold.I’ve read the other reviews from those who have left ‘rude staff’ comments in this chain. Many have left multiple or only ‘rude staff’ reviews. Could it be them that are the problem rather than the staff?”

“Friendly, cheerful, extremely helpful, whenever you go, whatever the team- Sanaa, Alex, Lillianne, Matt, Kaushik, Faisal, Lisa, Shah, Ricardo, Anjali, Persia, Reema, Daniel... & the charming Manager Kuldip, well done! Thank you.”

“Amazing selection of items, well stocked and hardly ever bought anything that expired before the use by date. One of the best local Sainsbury’s around. Most of the negative reviews seem to concern the parking. Just park off to the side or walk and you will be fine. If you park on the area marked as ‘no parking’ or in the petrol station (not linked to the Sainsbury’s) then you are asking for trouble.”

“Great place to get some essentials, it’s quite expensive compared to a big supermarket, however it’s convenient if you are nearby in the park. There are lots of busses that come here, E2 and the E9, and also it may be confusing, because there is another Co-Op down the road, which has a Post Office.”

“Great variety, good Tesco prices. Often busy, but staff is nice and hard working. My biggest problem is the bread, they have 100 varieties of terrible quality bread; I'd buy everything I need fro Tesco, then run over to M&S for bread.”

“After years of suffering dull customer service experience and low quality fresh stock on the shelves this Branch has undergone a very much needed refurbishment and I can finally shop here again after almost 5 years. The aisles are clear from clutter and wide enough to allow you walking through without bumping into things or people. The shop is bright and clean and the Staff seem to be relieved to work in such a nicer environment. The new Manager Crispen is a friendly person, kind and polite with a contagious smile even while wearing a face mask!!!!”
