I wish I could give 0 stars. This is my local station. I come in at least once a week for last few years. I have witnessed store manager being unhelpful and mean to other customers and today it was my turn. Came in bought bread and asked for £40 cash back. No problem from his side. He said it's ready so I tapped the card. Just as I did it, the store manager says, you should have not tapped. Now I can not give you cash back. I asked why he did not say before I tapped - I wasn't super quick. He said "it's a dtandard practice" no sorry or any type of help. Now I had to buy something else... so mean and unhelpful I did not want to speak to him again so went to check cashpoint.The cash point is out of order as always btw. The bread is always late. Store manager is not wearing his badge with his name on it, only identified himself as a store manager when I asked.I went back and asked whats the cheapest thing, he said he does not know! Finally I spotted rizzzlas for £0.40 (I don't smoke but needed cash to pay cleaner) so asked for them. Now he says he can only give me £20, because he served one person when I went to check the cashpoint... there were two tills. He did not even check the second till. Absolutely awful and arrogant attitude. Never going back there again. Will not support business who have this kind of people as store managers.
