Recently had my car repaired at Peter James garage and would definitely recommend them. Everything was a great service, from booking to collection. A very friendly and helpful reception team, as well as excellent repair work to my car. Great job, thoroughly recommended!

DO NOT USE! They are scam artists. Other party?s insurance picked them. We had quotes from other companies. Said wheel needed replacing. They tried to just paint over it. Wheels were not balanced super dangerous. Wife stuck for two hours with them till I could pick her up. Avoid at all cost. We are seeking legal action?

AVOID, If you are given peter james accident repair as the garage by your insurance company think again, I took my car in for repair side bonnet and driver door, however when I collected the car and drove off the boot would not lock , however this was locking fully when I left the car for repair, when I immediately drove the car back to ask what had happened was told " I thought I would have a look as I could see a scratch on the plastic where boot lock is and it will not lock now", however it was working fine when I left the car there for repairs, as I had been using the boot for a whole week before they could fit car in, I was then told, 'it's just the luck of the draw!!Really, I took car in for a completely different issue and he thought he would unnecessarily explore something else not wanted and couldn't put it back together, when you take your car in for repair and it comes back with another issue needing repair at the cost of you, very dishonest, no integrity, this is how they work, and to add they had very conveniently parked the driver side so close to the fence so as to deter me from getting in to turn engine on so I wouldn't notice the boot alarm warning not locking until I had signed paper and paid access for courtesy car, even hand wrote a review seeing that they hadn't had one for years, now I understand why, this is why I write this review, if you are an honest person , do not expect they will be, this is their professionalism and how they treat people.Service: Body & Trim

Great company this is now the 4th time I?ve had work done by them always a pleasure to deal with always do a great job never had a problem, their workmanship is very high, they have worked on my cossie twice, smax and now my bmw m140i highly recommend! All the staff are helpful, polite professional.

had my sent there by ax after a accident they had to spray bumper and bonnet car was kept for 2 weeks to do a 3 day job in the team time they had my car they jet washed inside my engine bay causing damages to engine cover and filter they refused to pay for the damages on top of that the paint work had defects had a independent accessor came out saw the defects put it to them only for them to dispute would not recommend this garage .Service: Engine repair

I took my Audi to get some scratches removed, and Peter was extremely helpful in pointing out that most of the scratches can be buffed out. Peter, and his team, were super nice and super quick in getting my car done, it was completed within 4 hours of me dropping it off. I will 100% be coming back.Service: Body & Trim

Please do not reply saying you don?t have a customer named ?howto youdo?. My insurance company directed me to this company. My Prius has minor damage due to a collision. It?s just the front bumper and components as well as the proximity sensor needed to be replaced. It took 2 weeks for them to send a text message to arrange a date which (the earliest) was 2 weeks later. By the way they texted me about 2 weeks after my insurance referred me to them. I called yesterday and they said they are still waiting for the parts to be delivered. Ordered from Japan I am guessing.Looking at the previous comments here, I am not hopeful. But they should know that people need their cars for their life. Especially as a Minicab driver I need my car to earn money for my children.

Overall the quality of service/work is very good, there were some communication issue and misunderstandings between employees. I was very pleased to see that the manager looked into it, identified the issue very quick , apologised for any inconvenience and reassurance was offered. The car was spotless on pick up (really appreciate that).
