Had an amazing time with my friends here last weekend. Sarita makes the best cocktails in Camden and made my friend's birthday weekend even better by amazing customer service and the friendliest attitude as always. My favourite Camden local so far! (the cutest dogs are a plus)

Solid pub in a quieter part of Camden with ice cold Neck Oil on tap. You could do much worse.

In response to the reply from the ?owner?: this was absolutely the correct pub I?m leaving a review for, The Spread Eagle on 141 Albert Street! This is a genuine review.
We walked in and straight back out of this pub, we wanted a drink after having food out and the place was utterly disgusting? stunk like maggots and was super dirty. Can?t imagine touching a drink or food from such a dirty and smelly establishment! ? Needs a complete overhaul!

Great pub, best in Camden by far. Food and service is amazing and the manager is very hospitable, you can see she runs it very well. I will be back soon! Highly recommend

Hired the upstairs room for a surprise birthday party, the staff were really helpful and accommodating with decorations and storing a cake beforehand and we had a fantastic night!

Two years ago, we had one of the best roast dinners I've ever had in this pub. Unfortunately, the quality of food has taken a nose dive since then. We recently went back for a Sunday roast and we're very excited based on our previous experience. It was absolutely awful, bordering on inedible. The meat was chewy and raw in the middle. I don't mind some pink in the meat but this was ridiculous. Veg were tasteless and badly cooked also. Gravy was thin and flavourless water. This place seriously needs to reconsider who they have cooking their food. I would never chance eating here again.
I had bangers and mash here also the day before we had the roast and that tasted decent but unremarkable. The gravy with the food was again ridiculously bad. A lot of pubs do bad gravy but the prices here would make you think that they could do better than your standard chain pubs. The wait time for the food was very long also which I wouldn't have minded if the food was good.

We came here for late lunch and overall I?d rate it as a bit of a tired pub! The service was good but the pub itself seems a little outdated/ not as cozy as others and the food wasn?t all that great in my opinion.

We visited on Sunday Roast lunch. Service was efficient and quality and size of the food (we all ordered roast beef) are very good.
Parking: It looks that area around this pub is not free parking (incl. Weekend). It is better using public transport or park somewhere free and walk

Roast dinner was wonderful. The ladies hosting were kind and attentive. Would definitely recommend for a quiet lunch just a few feet from camden lock

I booked the upstairs snug for my best friends birthday. as she was over from Australia I wanted to make it special! From the start the staff were amazing, so helpful and accommodating. Everyone?s food was wonderful and the atmosphere was great with great music playing. Highly recommended.

Great staff, who are funny & often wise beyond their years. Beer is well-kept. Ambience bang-on.
It's kind of the perfect pub, the best in Camden.
