Staff are so polite and professional. I was seen by Donovan and Louise and both went the extra mile to make sure we chose the correct furniture and flooring for our needs.

We bought a sofa in June and put down a deposit. Got an email to let us know the sofa was almost ready, and since we were also in the area looking for other furniture, and the salesman Calvin was friendly enough last time, we thought we'd pop in to make the payment. Shop and manager seemed busy and it was perfectly fine to wait, but what I didn't expect was Calvin asking us what we wanted, and as we were trying to locate the email, said to his colleague loud and clear enough for us to hear, "you don't need a f--king salesperson for that!". Felt extremely offended so we left. Never knew it is the norm to be swearing at your customers and it is clear these salesperson are friendly only to your money.

We found a sofa which we would nearly have bought, but the staff were so overly keen and far too zealous, that I would rather have gone home and bought online than bought instore. Do better.

They have some great sofas here especially if you're on a budget. Peter was my sales assistant and he was very thorough, polite and patient. He took me through all my options, offered me a coffee and even got the manager over to give me some more discount. I would recommend this store.

Terrible in-store customer service experience. Paid a deposit for carpet & fitting but after about a week I received an email saying my order would be delayed by three weeks, which didn't work for my timescale. When trying to cancel had the most awful customer service experience, the team in-store were making it so difficult for me to cancel my order. They obviously wanted to keep their sales commission. I was promised calls back, had to keep chasing for a phone call back I even drove the store and was promised a call in the morning which didn't come, so had to keep calling. When the cancellation was finally put through I was charged an extra £200+ by the store manager Louise (who needs customer service training). I called the central customer service team to complain and they agreed that the charge was unreasonable and I've since had all my money refunded. But a lot of hassle and terrible customer service from the Croydon store. Never ever again.

Not even a one star is accurate 0000000 stars been sold a reclining sofa that on one side the bracket is the wrong way round so we?re unable to recline it as it completlyTilts forward which is sooo dangerous I have a 4 year old that nearlyReally hurt himself by this happening 3 times a lovely engineer George bless him has been sent round to ?fix?Or bring parts that haven?t beeen ordered the sofa is unfixable the switch to recline which is back to front on this particular side that can?t actually been changed Round Iv been calling since November and this problem is still there after I was promised on the phone parts are being ordered will take 4-6 weeks 8 weeks later george has just left and guess what no work or repair was possible and no parts given as there isn?t any!!! so I now have to call for 40th time an absolute waste of all our time I?m left with a £3000 sofa that we can?t enjoy we waited 3 months to actually get the sofa I?m absolutely fuming I just hope they have the phone calls recorded I will be paying scs a visit as this is what I think the only way to be heard and get a sofa that is actually not broken!!!!! Never ever will I buy from scs there quick enough to take your money but when there?s a problem no communication is made Iv been lied to we?re now in April Iv been complaining since November pictures have been sent Iv called more then enough time you should ashamed of yourselfs

Wrote a 2 star review on their website which apparently they don't like and won't display so I'm downgrading them to 1 star.In Sept, I specifically changed my sofa choice to one they guaranteed my for xmas. Then told after I'd paid it was January. Their customer services never helped and just said go to the store. They never answered emails.

Very reasonable place. Jerry had provided excellent customer service. I would love to go there if I find this person who understands how to serve customers. They got huge variety with reasonable price.

A heartless company who left me with no furniture for Christmas and not disabled persons freindly.I purchased a divan set from the Croydon branch on 18 November 2022. Was promised delivery within 10 days. Delivery was delayed until 10 December 2022. Waited from 8am till 8pm and did not receive delivery. Receive a call at approximately 9pm saying they would deliver at approximately 10pm. As a 61 year old disabled person living in a sheltered housing/assisted living complex, delivery is not permited at that time unless it is a medical emergency. The following day I received a call from the store manager (Louise) who accused me of refusing delivery, even though nobody came to my address and ruthlessly raged at me, not allowing me to get a word in edgeways. She arbitrarily decided that she was going to cancel the finance agreement set up with Ikano Bank and that was the end of the story according to her. I cannot afford legal representation so I am left without furniture and disheartened. A warning to other potential disabled persons looking to shop at this store. My phone automatically records all my conversations as I was a victim of a scam previously so I can back up this review. Beware of false promises made.

We bought a sofa and dining table for our new home with a positive instore experience at the Croydon branch. After 2-3 months of waiting for delivery, we finally received the items but upon the installation of the dining table by the guys who delivered, we encountered problems straight away and in the end, were advised to have the dining table replaced. The delivery driver said he had taken photos and reported this to customer care and they would get back to us within 24 hours.....no call!Ended up ringing customer care after the weekend to be told nothing had been reported of the fault. The person we were talking to had informed us they will put on record and get back to us with an update.....a week later, nothing!!During that time, I had personally gone into the store where we purchased it from, to speak to the sales manager asking for advice, which in the end, all he could do was send an email and wait to hear back within 24 hours......after waiting a couple of days, nothing from them.4-5 weeks have gone by, we have had to chase this up with customer care and each time, they say nothing has been put on record even though my partner told them on the phone to put something on their system to get this sorted. We have tried to cancel the dining table set and to arrange a collection date but this still seems a hard task to do for customer care as they advised the cancelation and arrangement of collection is done by the store manager, in which they would contact.We finally got through to the store manager and she has advised she will keep us updated with the process and will cancel our purchase and arrange pick up of the dining table set.We've never had this much of a bad experience with any purchase in our lives and will not buy from SCS again.Absolutely diabolical from them, their "customer care" team need to learn how to do their job properly!

A kind staff that tries to trap you by telling me a price, and at the end the rules and the amount change completely, and if you try to change your order, because they allow you to do this within 7 days by sending them an email they pretend they didn't read it by letting this time pass, I felt lied to and tried to be stolen! I don't understand why only in this area of ??Croydon are the services of the shops like this, as it is not the only situation of this kind, be very careful or try to avoid this area!

Such a lovely lady, Osa, how wonderful she was to us and even let us in at closing time! She was so helpful and friendly, wish her all the best ?? Sofas are just as lovely, one nicer than the other! Waiting time of 10-12 weeks is sadly a bit too long for our current needs.
