Wow wow wow!! I'm still on cloud 9 from our wonderful wedding reception. Rachel who organised it all was just amazing- there to answer any questions day or night from wine choices to sparklers nothing was any hassle! All the staff were super friendly and helpful. Now the food! The fooood! Was amazing- my favourite was the beef skewers, juicy and flavoursome. We have absolutely no complaints whatsoever. It's beautiful the wonderful decor and view point a minute walk away. Great chats with the owner we felt so welcome. From me and my beloved husband thanks so much for making our wonderful day just perfect!

Pretty good food.
The staff are very polite and helpful.
The place can get pretty busy and might not get a table without some waiting.

Despite the bad reviews I decided to give it a go at my own risk and try it myself.
We arrived and asked for a table. The first thing the waitress did was look at her watch and said the kitchen was closing in half an hour. We still decided to go and have a quick meal. They sat us in the middle of the restaurant. We asked if we could sit at free table by the window. She shrugged and said that table was setup for 5 people (we were 3) so we couldn?t sit there: I thought if they are closing soon why can?t we get the table? Is not like anyone else will have lunch since the kitchen was about to shut.
We ordered dumplings prawn and pork and 3 main course, a Sichuan pork dish, some noodles and a chicken rice dish?
The pork dumplings were supposed to be fried, came soggy and flavourless? the prawn dumpling? I kid you not? was basically filo pastry deep fried and a whole prawn in it? like that?s it?
The pork had nothing sichuan about it ? no spicy at all, the noodles were just bland and the rice dish?? come on?.. was nothing more than a larger side dish of egg fried rice with some pieces of chicken?.
Ermmmm?. Okay!!! No thanks??..

Disgusting lsdy i came in here asking to use toliet being 3 months pregnant n she turn me away saying the toliet was only for guest shocking i was gonna to eat in after but after her tone i refused guys its a horrible place n that lady is just plain Nasty be careful

This used to be a nice place before they expanded and got too greedy. If you are just a couple, you get shoved in a corner, and serve you after everyone else, even if you booked and other tables with more than 4 people arrive after you!!
We even got followed outside by the owner who told us 'we close at 11' it was just 11 and, other people were leaving after us and got a thank you.
That was the last time we went there, and the friends I introduced to the place also never went there again. It's their loss because we spent heaps of money there.

Lovely food. Take £10 per person deposit, which comes off the bill at the end. Very friendly helpful staff

My first time visiting Royal Garden and I was blown away. The food was outstanding, the best Chinese food I?ve had in my life. The service was also brilliant. I will definitely be returning in the future. They even gave me a cake on the house because it was my birthday. 10/10!
