I stopped at the Croydon branch with a voucher, an item to return, and the clear intention of buying a second car seat for my mum?s car. From the moment I set foot in the store, the experience was frustrating:
? When I told the sales assistant I needed another car seat, she repeatedly questioned why?insisting it would be easier to move the existing seat between cars?despite my explaining several times that my mum will be driving my baby regularly. It felt as though she actively discouraged the sale.
? At the till, the same assistant claimed my previous order still had an outstanding balance?even though those items had already been delivered. She demanded ?evidence of payment? from me rather than checking the account properly. (Family and friends had used the flexible payment option on my account, something she seemed unaware of.)
? The tone and questioning implied we hadn?t paid for our earlier purchases, despite our spending a significant amount with Mamas & Papas. It was unnecessary.
By contrast, the Crawley branch has always treated us with genuine helpfulness?so that?s where I?ll continue to shop. After this visit, I won?t be returning to the Croydon store.

The assistant, Chemayah, was exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable. She helped us navigte the miriad of options in car seats, push chairs and furniture with ease. High quality service with a smile!

Visited the store today and had to mention what exceptional service we received. Victoria went above and beyond to help us find the right car seat, buggy and side cot for our upcoming arrival. She was so informative, patient, pragmatic and upfront without being at all pushy. Wouldn?t even give it half a star,
Myself and my partner visited yesterday hoping to buy our first pram!
we walked in to a completely unprofessional shop the staff didn?t even greet us especially being the only ones there they sat around doing nothing but talking about what happened over the weekend not once was we helped with anything whatsoever in that shop very poor customer service I was hoping to test out a couple prams to see what was best the staff could clearly see myself and my partner discussing it and still was offered any help or understanding didn?t feel like make a purchase in there shop due to the lack of communication and customer service. Went to another mamas papas and purchase instead
If your looking for a warm welcome with support especially first time partners I wouldn?t bother going to this spot in Croydon it?s a buzz kill and you will lose all enthusiasm and excitement while there

We visited today to look at buggies and car seats. Mayah helped us choose a car seat and gave us lots of helpful information on the buggies. She was by far the most helpful person we spoke to and was really nice to deal with too. Thanks Mayah!

If you're buying a cotbed from Mamas & Papas, buy a mattress from only them and not from anywhere else. I purchased a cotbed from them, and while the quality is great, I ran into an issue with the sizing. The cotbed is slightly smaller than the standard size, so it only properly fits their own mattress. I bought a mattress from a different retailer (which is of standard size), and it doesn?t fit properly?it bends slightly in the middle, which is unsafe for my baby. When I contacted customer care, their response has always been: 'All our cotbeds fit all our mattresses'. This lack of helpfulness is frustrating, especially when it comes to my baby?s safety.
